Rope would have done better if it was released on cd ASWELL as including a b side. I don't really care for singles charts so I don't see the point in buying rope when it was released for free initially!!!!! Seriously, what's the point?

Rope made it to number 1 on three different charts: the Billboard Alternative Songs, the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks and also the Billboard Rock Songs.

"Rope" recently topped Billboard's Alternative chart, giving the group its eighth No. 1. The five-piece is now the first act with Alternative No. 1s in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s.

Hi
German Amazon shows, that Wasting Light is no.1 in Rock/no.3 in Pop and no.3 overall.
Keep buying people-it really deserves to be selling best, but actually I don't care as long as I have my couple of copies.

Rope also charted on the Austrian Top 75 official singles chart at number 51. Foos really are a band with worldwide appeal.

Amazon
Music #2
Pop Music #2
Rock Music #2
Alternative Music #1

Rock should be #1, Adele's on 1. I can't blame her, 21 is a fine album.
Good job guys! Can't wait to get mine, I'll visit music stores tomorrow and see if it "leaked".

Do people outside of the music business care? Charts are kinda an anachronism anymore.

Actually i like to see whether or not their albums hit the million in America because they're not as popular as they are in Australia and Britain.

#1, #1, #1, #1 on Amazon
I know not many people care, but you can imagine how difficult it is to push albums to the top ten, leave along #1!!!! Merit and credit is deserved!

Could Foo Fighters be the ones to finally knock Adele off the number 1 spot, on the UK albums chart ?

I'm REALLY interested to see how they do on Billboard's top 200. The highest rock CD is Sum 41 at like 31.....

I think if they can beat one of the two Bieber CDs in the top 25, it will be a huge moral victory.

I see Radiohead & The Strokes charting higher than Sum 41?
