I'm so disappointed that "Cut me some slack" is the only song recognized. Don't get me wrong I love Sir Paul but it is no where near the best song on the album.

Totally agree (It's probably the worst) but I guess it's because it's the only one 'released' as a single.

I didn't think of that. Here "Can to Can't" got tons of radio play i just assumed it was a single. I agree it's probably the worse, it's my least favorite.

Well a 'single' is a pretty odd term these days since none of them actually get released physically anymore and seemingly just being on the radio counts for some songs but as far as I know CMSS was the only song released officially to radio, with a promo disc.

It's obvious why they pushed that song but yeah, pretty much any of the others would have better represented the album.

Cut me some slack is being used in a Hugo Boss advert here. Dave sold out.

Well it would take 4 people to agree to that, but yeah I was a little put off the first time I saw that commercial too.

I didn't know there were 'Best Contemporary Christian Music Song' and 'BEST CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN MUSIC ALBUM' categories

Couldn't Sound City have had another song nominated for 'Best song written for visual media'?
