'Grohl's most memorable set of songs since 1997's The Colour and the Shape.'

Brilliant.

Judging from what I've heard so far, they might be right on this.

"Three-guitar riff bombs, like "Bridge Is Burning" and "White Limo," brandish real heavy-metal muscle, while the insanely catchy "Back and Forth" summons some of Nevermind's poisoned-pop frenzy. "

um, what? "Bridge Is Burning"?

i listened to it in the white limo, today. it is better than anything they've done since 1x1, easily. the studio version of these days is probably the best track on the album, in my opinion. this album won't let you down.

The youtube videos are awesome, but really don't do it justice. I was lucky enough to get into 3 of the LA shows and believe me...You will be blown away by the live performance of Wasting Light...I'm so happy for you!

Talking Re: Wasting Light Reviews

So glad I haven't had the internet for the last month or so...I've heard a few snippets of the new songs being played live (not enough to recognise any by name), the studio version of Rope, and that is it. Bring on this Sunday when I will get to hear brand new foo songs for the first time coming straight from the horse's mouth LIVE in Brisbane.

I don't think it has (i'd like to know if so!) I think MADNESS just means generally.

A real slam dunk! "Godlike Genius" or not, this is the album that shows the maturity and talent of Dave, Chris, Pat, Nate and Taylor. They deserve all the kuddos they're receiving. CONGRATS GUYS!!!

I just really hope it never leaks.... But im curious (because im not familiar with leaks in general), would it even be worth listening to? I mean in reference to the sound quality--Would it be any better than the live recordings?

Albums always leak, and it's CD quality, studio versions..the retail rip usually.. so it would be just fine.

I have a really good feeling about this Album, I can't wait!
