Cleveland is huge in the Rock N' Roll scene. WMMS was really important. And "Thank you, Cleveland!" is a popular phrase. It's not "Thank you, Toronto!"

The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame is a joke, anyways. Last time I was there, they had a whole floor dedicated to The Clash.

I wasn't referring to that. I have it on DVD, though.

1. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is actually pretty cool! Don't knock it. At least it exists.

2. It's not a new RnR Hall of Fame...read closely, its a ROCK of Fame. What the fuck does that mean? 102.1 is like the shittiest radio station here. This sadly doesn't mean much, except for 15-29 year old guys that listen.

Honestly, I like the museum and all, and I really had fun in Cleveland the one time I was there for a couple of days, but if you were to ask me to name off the top 10 North American cities based on historical and cultural significance in rock music that are most fitting for the rock n roll hall of fame, Cleveland doesn't make that list.

It's there cause some politicians were basically willing to pay for it with taxpayer money. And that's fine, but c'mon......if you're going middle of the country, it made way more sense to put it in Detroit

Hey jennyroo,
isn't that shittiest radio station 102.1 the edge the one that promoted/ the Foo's as well as promote the garage tour that you were so blessed with to be a guest at? Kind of suprised to hear that...who else in this town plays your fav band? Just wondering...?
and no I dont work for them.

Cheeers!!

I don't care that they promoted the Garage Tour...they had nothing to do with it, it was all Blackberry.

There are other radio stations that play Foo too, don't be silly. 97.7, 107.9, etc...not to mention I can't stand listening to the radio since it's all repetitive bullshit.

In the 90's, I LOVED the Edge. I would listen 24/7...but they ain't what they used to be, that's for sure. Can't stand that station now.

I hate to talk bad about my own state...but Cleveland fuckin SUCKS. I hate it. Its dirty and scary and I always get lost. The only time I go there is if the Foo play there...there is no other reason to be there.

I have never even been the hall of fame. I heard it is pretty cool though
