I cannot for the life of me work out why Lotus Flower is listed a rock song... I have a feeling Foo Fighters will lose that category, if only because they'll pick up Rock Performance and Best Rock Album instead. They won't get album of the year just because that Adele album is just that popular (not my thing though). Radiohead will probably take the Alternative album award, if only because it's Radiohead.

Then, as long as Skrillex doesn't win anything, it's all good, but they'll probably end up giving him every award going because DUBSTEP IS FUCKING COOL! Skrillex is dire though, WOB WOB WOOOB.

The fact that Skrillex was even nominated makes me fucking ill.

I hope Bon Iver wins Alternative over Radiohead because King of Limbs sucked.

Compare those paragraphs of people needed to make the artist sound good to the handful of people who worked on the Foo Fighters (and Bruno Mars) album .

Dude, The King of Limbs was one of my favorite albums this year.
And the Foos only need themselves to be that awesome!

Wasting Light additional musicians:
Bob Mould – guitar and backing vocals on "Dear Rosemary"
Krist Novoselic – bass and accordion on "I Should Have Known"
Rami Jaffee – keyboards on "Bridge Burning" and "Rope", mellotron on "I Should Have Known", organ on "Walk"
Jessy Greene – violin on "I Should Have Known"
Fee Waybill – backing vocals on "Miss the Misery"
Butch Vig − percussion on "Back & Forth"
Drew Hester − percussion on "Arlandria"

All I'm going to point out is that the other albums are giving songwriting and musician credits to everyone involved, Wastling Light is only listing producers, masters and egineers.

So, yes, Foo Fighters did do it on their own... with the help of 7 other musicans, 6 of which didn't get credit there.

The only way I can see the Foos winning Album of the Year is if the popular gets split between, say, Adele and Lady Gaga...but I think most people involved would still vote for Adele.

Who votes?

Love to see White Limo win.

I hate that Bruno Mars. What a boggly eyed, whiny voiced shitbag.

Aye, I also think Adele is going to take home most awards. Great to see Foo's in the race for so many awards, they deserve it!

Heck, I wouldn't even bet against them for Album of the Year,
the Grammys usually make the safe choice- which would be Adele,
but if I said it once,
I'll say it again:

This is the Year of the Foo!

congrats and cheers dudes!

I'm really hoping they make a great showing. Maybe the nostalgia for true "old school" rock by real musicians will give them additional consideration by their so-called peers. Articles like this from the Hollywood Reporter may help:
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...-analog-268366

I know I'd vote for them...if I could.

I'd have to agree, she made a great record and actually sold quality music to the mindless masses.
