I saw this when clicking on the nme link. I wonder where you can listen to these after they have aired. I don't have a sirius subscription.

Dave says he won't tour with QOTSA (mentioned at the end of the article)

Nick Oliveri also reunites with the band for one song... Don't know if it will be permanent, but it's good to know the line-up Homme/Oliveri/Grohl is actually working on something... The alchemy between those dudes is something rarely seen in music... And I Guess Mark Lanegan will do some stuff as usual, sounds tasty to me

I'm a little disappointed Mark is not going to be on the record. He's my favourite vocalist.

Same here, well, kinda.
I really liked his last solo album Blues Funeral, but to me he's just perfect for the Qotsa sound, a heavy hard rusty rock voice !
Song for the Dead, Hangin' Tree or In The Fade... Still give me goosebumps after all this time

So Dave won't be touring with them which is a huge shame - does anyone think he might drum at the QOTSA Download festival headline slot?

Lanegan came by. He didn't say much, but he sang good.
Troy Van Leeuwen said to Dean Fertita as overheard by Mikey Shoes

From the QOTSA Facebook.

A shame Dave couldn't tour a bit with Queens.Him and Josh work well together and it would've been fun for old times sake even if Dave couldn't stick around for the entire tour.

I actually thought Theodore did a great job at the show in Brasil last night, they don't need Dave on that basis.

It's not a question of need more than one of want. I can guarantee you that if given the choice those in attendance would have much preferred Grohl to Theodore.Just doing an adept job behind the kit is commendable given the circumstances.I can almost guarantee that everyone who was excited to hear that Dave was recording with Queens again secretly hoped/expected that he would be doing shows with them and not just serve as the guest drummer on the album.

I thought the new track was blatantly one that Grohl plays on on the record. Theodore is an ace drummer, reckon he will really push the band into some n.w jams
