It's drying out now. Was a pretty spectacular storm last night. Its about ten degrees cooler too, would have been a far better day to try and conquer a mountain!

What an amazing concert last night. A beautiful venue and nearly 3 hour set with some old favourites. Frank Carter was also really good. If tonight is anything like last night, even if you get there by 715 you can get within 5 rows of the front!

They went off on a tangent on the first night, got a few extra songs, then night 2 stuck to the setlist pretty much all the way through.

Said to the others, after Frank Carter on night 2 I couldn't care less as at that point I didn't think the whole thing could be topped, the foos then opened with everlong which for some reason blew my mind

And what about that kid playing the drums? If that wasn't the highlight of both evenings... it certainly was the best moment of the second one for sure
What about security? I just thought I probably could have trafficed the bomb inside my bag because they only asked about certain "bulges" inside (which were my boxed glasses), and believed me for word without opening. It's understandable though, if they opened every bag we would never have gotten inside.

Mate had to throw away camera in bin, it wasn't one with a detachable lens which weren't allowed, same was about to happen with other mate but she knows foo security and he was lovely & she didn't need to chuck her camera out. Signs outside had the yes and no's of what can be taken in, usual stuff, cameras with detachable lens etc but you were allowed to take sunscreen in and they took that off you. It was 90 degress out. They were barking orders at you and were just rude for the sake of it. I understand they have a job to do, they need to look in your bags, empty out pockets etc but they were just agressive about it.

Both shows were great! Even managed to randomly run into Rami on the first night!

We'd spent the whole gig with the guy who played the drums! He's called Richard and he's one lucky man! Saw him yesterday and he said he was interviewed by a Croatian newspaper already, so chuffed for him!

Security searched me properly. Had to give a big explanation about my diabetes kit which isn't particularly ideal when you're aiming for front row.

Whole thing was such an amazing experience. Moshing with Frank, multiple set lists, hearing stacked actors again for the first time since 2008, the most incredible venue ever! And my Dave towel and used cup

Ah, things have changed on this board I am here first time since 2006 :-D

The concert in Pula was amazing, how the hell is Dave able to maintain such a voice and scream for 3 hours nearly everyday?

Perfect venue, perfect show

I already emailed Kristina (woop!!) to see if she can help with contact details to make an official complaint about the security. I know nothing is going to come out of it but still. Just to be even a tiny little pain in the arse.

The venue security were awful...unorganized, disrespectful and rude.

The second night was better because Foo security stepped in and took over the organization. I will be forever grateful to Steve for getting me into the night 1 show after I was turned away TWICE for having a compact, and allowable, camera in my bag.

Well, when you take into account the fact that even some compact cameras have detachable lens and make professional quality videos and pics... you simply don't risk and just stick to the mobile camera. I mean, if you really need to participate in the show over some device interface.

I didn't make single photo or video the whole night - best decision ever. Spent three hours in druged-like trance. Wouldn't happen if I had to fiddle with shooting settings and such.

Also, you can never underestimate human stupidity and lack of education, which with security personnel come in abundance. Apologies to honorable exceptions.
