That sounds like a good idea Poppy! As you say would stop presale codes being shared and means real fans get first dibs.

I had real problems trying to get Dublin tickets as Ticketmaster.ie wouldnít accept an Aussie phone number in any form and it was a mandatory field, I kept losing the tickets, getting them back, losing them. I then gave up tried my UK card in with my Mums phone number and bingo! As you say if the card was lodged with membership number it would be so much quicker.

If I want to buy tickets for the States I wonder if Iíll get the same issues!

Oh how I long for a Foo email to land, itís been ages!

Iron Maiden have a decent fan club. £25 a year which gets you a special T Shirt, a fan club magazine 4 or 5 times a year and exclusive pre sale days before any others for all gigs.

Not sure how I feel about a paid fan club..

I do love the idea of a personalised pre-sale to keep them bloody touts away.
I think (especially in the UK) Foos play big stadiums so tickets aren't too hard to get your grips on. Also more likely for people to be unavailable nearer the dates and to pick up tickets.

If Foos regularly did smaller gigs I'd quite happily pay for a fan club, but I don't really think there's a need for it based on the stadiums they're playing. If you're on when they go on sale theres rarely any issues.

I would pay for a fan club. And Sarah has the best idea ever!

A fan club, to buy tickets, wouldn't be really worth where I live (most of the time, the Foo Fighters do festivals), but I would gladly join it for other extras (annual vinyl records and other stuffs).

This is what I used to like with the Ten Club (until they stopped the singles).

Anyone going to either the Austria or Italy shows? I will be over there for work so going to go. I am actually looking for hotel suggestions for Italy.
