Default 2017 Tour

So far no shows in the North East US.

Will we have to wait to 2018?

That's what I'm waiting for as well. And yes, I'm thinking it will be spring.

Ya. I've got my fingers crossed that I can see them either in Canada or New England. I'd love to see them in a small venue though.

Chances for that are pretty slim.

Well I think it's logistically impossible to add a significant number of more shows in 2017 now, not many gaps, so yeah, I'd guess all the big areas currently missing will be in early 2018.

I pondered this in another thread. I do wonder how many cities in the north east they will play or if they will just stick with Boston and NYC like last time.

I don't know the actual answer to that but it seems they're doing a lot more places they haven't visited in a long time on the first leg, so you never know what the second leg will bring.

I think they will carry on the trend of skipping the big cities and do the smaller towns but this will be in the new year rather than 2018.

They have totally missed out the NE and some of the southern states (Tx, NM, Az, Fl) so maybe they will hit them all next year.

They'll definitely hit the big cities, they can't afford not to really, but it's how many smaller markets they fit in between. NYC, Boston, LA, Philly, Detroit, Chicago, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Austin, Seattle, Cleveland. They'll definitely all get a show, I'm sure.

Well, one would assume that when a second leg is announced there will also be a presale.

But buying the new album and picking a city for PRESALE don't apply

I'm confused on the whole presale, code thing

I'm hoping for a show in Providence. I've got friends there.

During pre-sales, you need a special code to "unlock" the tickets so you can buy. It doesn't guarantee you any specific seats or section, just the ability to buy tickets before the madness of a public on-sale.

I see a lot of people in various places freaking out because they couldn't get anything during the pre-sale. I'd wager a guess that most of the time no more than 10 - 15% of the available tickets are put out for pre-sale. I've struck out so many times on pre-sales and then had no problem getting in during the general sale.

NOBODY PANIC!

I remember thinking for the Wasting Light tour that I would skip going to Tulsa because surely at some point they'd make a stop in Dallas. But nope. Not one TX Wasting Light show happened.

One would hope there will be a Twin City show, and perhaps San Diego, added, right?!

Not seeing how the supposed Sept ANZ gigs are going to fit now either which is a shame. Source was very reliable though so its possible there were other problems like venues etc or that they may still somehow do the impossible

Nothing is guaranteed...I would catch whatever show you can.
