Default The Ultimate Foo Fighters album. (Part 9)

"Doll/Monkey Wrench was condensed into one song. I gave it some thought and cam with the conclusion that those two deserve to be together because it starts out soft and then kicks in, in the big way. Plus the more reason of have more albums ending with 12."

Another landslide as Enough Space takes Track 8 in the Ultimate Album. It's coming down to the wire where decision look like they get easier through time.

All My Life
Hey, Johnny Park
Best of You
Gimme Stitches
Generator
Aurora
Weenie Beenie
Enough Space

(I'm just gonna re-instate that the look of this album is much better than this.) It may look like a personal attack but the suggestions were the hits. It is your opinion though

I love february stars. Headwires comes as close 2nd, and The Deepest Blues are Black is also very good. So is For All The Cows...I'm always very happy when that one gets played live!

Yeah i was listening to February Stars just as i voted for Headwires. No matter the outcome i find that it's only those two who are well worthy. Though i do have a soft spot for The Deepest Blues. Quality for such a poor rock side to an album.

As I said before, it doesn't "look" or resemble an "Ultimate" Foo to me. I see doing something as what Jazzwords is doing http://bbs.foofighters.com/showthread.php?t=148388, where you take a vote on the top three songs from each cd and then make your selection from that as a more complete and "Ultimate" Foo. If you take a look at the top two from each album I compiled, it was quite a unique list. It not only contained some "Hits", but fan favs from all over each cd, NOT like what you are doing and going by track number which is limited. Is it a good collection? Sure, but far from "Ultimate". Just my opinion . I voted "For All The Cows"

While i'm not disagreeing that it too is a good form of getting an "ultimate" album it is a much longer process when you look at it. I'm already at 70% of this. Plus there have been able to tally more votes and opinions in mine for a fuller range of what people like.

I also thought that it would be smart to have them up against the same track to show how one album has a better range of songs and show than an ultimate album comes from only certain albums. If you notice the majority are coming from the first three tracks. Thus re-instating that those albums are superior to the last three not including Wasting Light. I don't think i'll be able to say this any better, The grammar however.

It's all quite random.

I know you're going to tell me the same as you did in the other thread that my opinion sucks, but i'm entitled to one.
Because if you notice for example an album like IYH and OBO it has more filler, this may also be an opinion but Halo, Overdrive and Burn Away are pretty weak compared to Live-In Skin, Headwires and Ain't It The Life. The lyrics and melody and overall feel is so much better. Doesn't seem as forced. if you really look at their albums extensively you should notice that their albums tend to get weaker with the exceptions of having very good ending tracks. Look at the last few round and notice that the winners of each round win by a substantial amount because the better albums have a better catalog.

I only made TCATS the only one that had two songs in one because i find Doll to be an Intro but it works perfectly with such a song about despair into balls to the wall single of a song.

I can say it sucks but i will acknowledge yours and give you a reason instead of ignoring it.

My point therefore is that track position, which is partly random, is having a large outcome on this poll of ultimate album, which seems wrong to me.
Right i get your point now. Now tell me why the band themselves put the songs in their respected places.

Jumble up TINTL and tell me it sounds better. I would wager that it sound much worse.

You know, all these songs are about my least favorite Foo songs...when compared to everything else.
