I got about what I expected... Anthem in October, so it is fine. But just once, I would like to not travel hundreds of miles to get at a show when there is one in my yard!

I lucked out and got 2 tickets. It's general admission but capacity is 1100. Doors open at 930. What time should i get there?

My first ever Foo show was at the Metro in 2011. I was a casual fan prior to that gig and couldn't see them enough after it was over. I went to 4 more shows on the Wasting Light tour: Lolla, Milwaukee (3 days post-gall bladder removal surgery) and twice in Atlanta. Made it to Wrigley and ACL on the Sonic Highways Tour. I already have tickets for Nashville in October.

If anyone is looking for a plus 1 for the Metro and needs a spare right arm (or some cash) I'd happily give up either to have another Metro experience. I watched a bunch of Metro YouTube videos last night to psych myself up for the sale this morning and I was so bummed when I got kicked out of the queue.

Thanks!
-Jen

If you want to be up front... really early! I imagine the line will queue early.

Some might be there the night before (nuts IMO). Another group will be there at 6-7 am. It's going to be a long day.

The venue has pretty good sight lines and is small anyplace will be good unless you are set on rail. If the balcony is open, head up and get that rail space.

Anyone has a spare ticket I can trade my +1 Anthem DC for your spare Metro ticket.

Definitely, I think I used all my luck when I got in for the Black Cat Sonic Highways show back in '14!

The balcony will not be open, VIP. It has been the standard for all small shows there.

Think there will be an opening act since they're going on so late?

Any thoughts on going to the Metro without a ticket and hoping for no-shows? I think a couple people may have had success with that strategy at the 2014 Cubby Bear show. I live a mile and a half from the Metro so I don't mind waiting there if there's a chance I could snag a ticket.

If anyone has a +1 they are willing to part ways with, I've got a few things to offer and am open to figuring out a combination of the following to make a deal:

- My Infield Club Box Cubs Season Tickets (Section 25 Row 3) for a game
- (2) Season Ticket Holder Family Day Passes (includes opportunity to Play Catch in the Outfield, Tour the Stadium, Picture Ops with World Series Trophy & more)
- Cash

Wow!

Buyer beware on both parts! I don't want to hear about sweetheart deals going wonky.

If I had a ticket though I would totally take you up on that shit.

Good Luck because the only way if someone resells their +1 and they can't resell their own name on the list inside.

My goal would be to transfer the Cubs tickets from my Chicago Cubs Season Ticket Holder account, the most secure way for tickets to be transferred & then join at the show as the +1.
