Foo Fighters: Concrete and Gold Tour í18

Please note Foo Fighters: Concrete and Gold Tour 2018 | Capital One Presale.
Here's what you need to know about purchasing Capital One Cardholder presale tickets:
You must use an eligible Capital One Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card to purchase presale tickets.
Excludes Capital One issues private label cards.
The promo code is the first 6 digits of your card.
Presale tickets will be available as of October 26, 2017 10am until October 28, 2017 10am or until sold out.
Limit of (4) four tickets per card.
While supplies last.

4 tickets per card makes much more sense and I've definitely have had tickets cancelled on me because I surpassed the 4 tickets total between 2-3 transactions.
I'm going to get a Capital One card just for this. It looks like there are some cards that aren't accepted. What Capital One card can I get that will work?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Some of the fine print I saw said you had to have the card in hand to order, and that brand new ones or applying for one wouldn't let you purchase

I was able get my ticket fine without a card to complete the transaction. I simply needed the Capital One Code to unlock it.

The Wrigley Cap One presale isn't until 11/6/17, if I apply today I'll have it in hand before then. I'm honestly not being a smart ass, any idea where you saw the part about brand new cards?
I'd think they'd be happy for the business with an old or new customer, you know?

I’m not sure I’d bother getting a new credit card just for this presale since it already started and presumably most of all of the inventory is gone.

If you want to see the inventory first PM me and I can tell you the first 6 numbers of my card before you bother applying.

Edit- didn’t realize there were more presales.

Don't blame you. I wish presales like this gave you time to get a card. I missed out on tickets for an AmEx thing too.

3rd bullet point here: https://foofighters.com/capitalone/

Isn't the Wrigley sale the same time for Cap 1 and Foo fans?

I remember either the Citi field or Fenway show (or maybe both) from the last tour used the mlb system and I thought it was a pain. In reality probably no worse than Ticketmaster but as they say the devil
You know...

Fenway show this time around definitely used their ticketing system for sure. (I think last tour as well).

Make sure there isn't fine print that tells you, you have to use your Capitol One card. Usually you have to use the card they tell you to.

The tickets have arrived in my e-mail. No problems. I simply need to print them.

This sold out, even with refreshing for 30 min, in 30 seconds hoping to get some on the other pre-sales!

For Wrigley?

It was fine for NYC. Because I didn't get my ticket for hours after it started and there were some still left on the Friday.

Do you know from experience if they reserve groups of tickets from some of the better sections for the general public sale on 11/3? I found the Capital One and fanclub presales to be about the same with some very limited lower pavilion or pit, a decent amount of upper pavilion and mostly lawn.

You are right Jill - every show I looked at for the Capital One presale said you had to use a Capital One card to also purchase the tickets.

My car is on it's way, I'll use it right away on something small, hell, I'll pay it off right away if that's what they want!!
But, I'll have it in hand by the time of the pre-sale

Chicago in July, what is wrong with me!!!!!

It will be lovely. Trust me. Who knows, you might get lucky and find something to eat or drink.

Chicago in July cannot be worse than Chicago at New Years! Wife and I went for a NYE show (Better Than Ezra) from Boston. And even though we left Boston in the throes of a Nor'easter, it was far colder in Chicago!

The Weber Grill Restaurant was pretty good if memory serves...
