A Golden Ticket would be a nice treat for people who buy a physical copy of the album.

Did they buy from the UK foo store? I think it was based on sales from the US foo store - which sucks for people who don't live in the USA

It could well have actually been combined, as I bought from both stores with a fair bit being from the UK as a fair amount was exclusive. And I was still surprised to be in the top 50; as I must have beaten a few flippers buying multiples of many things for resale.

Sorry, bit of dull theory but I think the dolls are just a way of cementing Rami's position as a 6th member of the band.

Dave: "We just had to included Rami now he's an "official member". And just like in the band its fitting he's buried behind everyone else. Or in this case buried inside everyone else. Either way - we keep him as hidden as possible..."

Were they selling the dolls though? Or were the cut outs just decoration?

We all know that record sales are going down the tube and artists these days seem to be coming up with more and more extravagant reasons for people to buy 'deluxe' versions. It started with basic stuff, t-shirts, posters, but now artists are doing ever more unique items to tempt people in. I just see these dolls as Foos extravagant idea.

The Roswell show is an interesting thought but of course the major difference there is it was US only, while these were sold worldwide. Flying those people somewhere isn't going to be cheap. Also worth pointing out the message on the website that people have referred to, this one, was also US only, so I don't think there a connection there since the sets were worldwide.

Who knows, maybe there will be something in there but just not quite as crazy, a USB stick with some exclusive videos or something like that.

As I say all we can do is wait and see, I certainly wouldn't begrudge anyone if your theory turned out to be true.
These nesting dolls are so great. I know they had to have sat around and screamed yes when someone presented the idea. They are SO BAD THEY ARE BADASS. They can get away with it. I don't think all bands could. I think they are pure genius.

I'm not rich, but I bought it. It's only because I'm a huge fan and it's ridiculous so I want it. I love that they put together this package. They make me so happy I'm fine with spending it. It's smart marketing too. I can't say that with anything else. I can be "high" on a Foo show for a week. They are the only thing I do that I spend frivolous money at. So my collection of weird Foo stuff along with set list, pics and other little Foo memories is worth it to me. I actually have a Foo account on Digit.

I think the general consensus is that he's had enough harsh treatment just being the tiny guy that gets to be the (small) butt of all the doll jokes.

I thought peanuts were forbidden on flights as they are airborne allergenics.

No - it's moisturized towelettes that are forbidden as they contain alcohol based cleansers that are deemed unsafe to be posted by airmail... seriously I've been through this debacle - a flight kit that was unsafe to be sent by intentional airmail

Thank God for my special non-alcoholic un-moistened mail helpers!

I swear - craziest thing I've ever experienced in over a thousand FF items
