Would love to have an unopened can.

Not being familiar with Young Henry's beer, are they good? I'm somewhat of a beer snob and refuse to drink the "national" brands (Bud/miller/coors/etc) as they taste like crap. I have heard that Fosters is the equivalent of those beers. I would hope that Young Henry is much better.

Fosters exists almost purely for export. No one actually drinks it here.
You’re looking at VB and Carlton Draft for that sort of rep.

I think Young Henry’s are an independant small batch brewery, generally only available in its local area somewhere in NSW (though I could be wrong)

https://younghenrys.com/our-story

Find a stockist at the bottom - enter nothing and scroll and the list is quite long - these will be cans. On tap yes it's pretty much limited to NSW and Melbourne AFAICT

Did some digging into their shop - a 24 pack of other cans was $72 AUS -
https://shop.younghenrys.com/collections/on-tap

but checkout says 100% Australia only for delivery and "PLEASE NOTE: All booze orders will require a photo ID and signature on delivery."

So it looks very much like international orders will be impossible unless we get some friendly Aussies to help.

The Melbourne set list looks pretty good. For All The Cows back in the mix - nice!

I have a spare GA ticket for the Auckland concert on Saturday because my partner has opted out due to the rainy weather forecast. Selling at face value - NZ$160.00. I can drop off in Auckland (central areas only please) or meet up somewhere to collect etc, either on Friday afternoon/night or first thing on Saturday morning.

Who's keen?

EDIT: IT'S SOLD.

And it was followed by TIAC - so that's a nice mini time jump

They were in the encore - which will hopefully get a further shake up with the removal of Beaconsfield. I'll Stick Around or Wattershed will do fine

Pretty sure the Fosters in the UK isn't even brewed in Australia. It's made by Heineken under license.

Awesome, thanks. Bit weird they don't have one near Gate F though - that's the GA gate. I guess Gate A isn't too far away though. What time's everyone heading along?

Yeah Gate A is right next door. Im thinking they are smart enough to know people in GA dont really want to be holding an arm full of merch so there's less point putting up an entire tent next to them lol.

What's odd is there is nothing for gate D South Stand.

I will be wandering about somewhere after mid day - I suspect the merch tents MAY actually open before 2pm. If they do I have a chance to race back to my motel, otherwise posters are gonna be out even if I see them.

FWIW - The Foo Town lager tasted more like a fruity Pale Ale to me...

They were selling them for $40 a six-pack in the hotel - I would've grabbed one, but was heading straight to the gig!

My two cents on the gig itself - they played tight as hell, Dave's voice held together pretty well, the light show was awesome.

The extended breakdowns were over the top, IMO, and the song choices left a lot to be desired - very predictable for the most part, and disappointing where they'd tried to add different things in - where the hell did Let It Die come from as their "song from way back for all you old school Foo Fighters fans"??

They played about 25 songs in 3 hrs (24 if you take out the band intro snippets). Not necessarily the best comparison, but they got through 37 in 3hrs 10mins at the Goat Island gig.

The 'Let There Be Rock' AC/DC cover was actually a song highlight. Dirty Water can be dropped immediately.

It's not even Aus owned any more

Pre-ordered a 6 pack of Foo Town from Cherry for home delivery.
And now have a slab on hold at my local Dan Murphy's

Last night was the first time I watched from a little further back (by the sound tent) rather than the front row.
I always used to assume Shifty's mic was turned down intentionally. Turns out sound is just a bit shit in front of the stage
I also never realised how good the light show is. Only took me 12 shows
