As common with all other Foo releases, let's discuss what will be released and what you (pre)-ordered.

As one of the heavy collectors on this board, I say this one will keep us busy for a while

I know there's lots of talk about this in the new album thread, but that's more about postage fees than the actual release.

I ordered:

- Mega Bundle with the Forever cover

I'm tempted to buy al other 8 vinyls, but that will be hell to pay when it passes customs, and I really can't afford that right know. They will have to wait.

How about you fine dames and gents....

Pre ordered the mega bundle with forever sleeve.Wonder if any sleeve will be rarer than the others and how limited are the mega bundles?

I ordered the mega bundle and a vinyl of every city except for infinity. Hoping there's still some around when I get paid, or that they'll be easy to find in the future.

I did the exact same thing, and I'm pondering the exact same thing. I'm in California so shipping shouldn't be too bad, but still that's over $200 for 8 vinyls that will never get played. And I already have a 3 foot by 3 foot flag, as well as a 2 foot by 2 foot puzzle of the same artwork on the way, so I think I'm better off with just the bundle.

Good call on the Forever cover though That's my favorite part!

Yeah, I don't live or have never been in any of the cities so that doesn't matter to me plus it's what I saw first on the list so I panic bought!

My dad obviously just saw the news release and said 'you are not going to buy all 9 versions'
My response 'I'm seriously considering it'

And that without him knowing I already spent £140 on the bundle!


When I emailed the store the guy said they haven't been given a number yet but if he hears he'll let me know

I'm tempted to buy New York because I've been a couple of times and one of my best friends lives out there, but I figure as soon as I buy one city I'll end up buying them all. So Forever seemed like the safest option for now

Mine too. Definite panic buy. Had it on my iPhone while feeding my daughter. Had to pick the first one

Happy with my choice nonetheless. It's actually my favorite (for now)

Also, does anyone know if the different covers will be available to the regular shops? Foo store says you can only order them from here, but I highly doubt that, considering the kind of profit they can make on these.

Hoping they will also send a dispatch email with tracking number considering the money spent even though on the faq it says international orders don't have tracking, but I paid for priority express international and it does have tracking...

I live in L.A./Hollywood area, so I considered that cover briefly, but I think I prefer the Forever panel best, and yeah it was first and I was afraid I wouldn't get one! I think my roomie's getting the Hollywood one, so that'll be good. When I ordered it actually said "there was an error processing your request" and I just about screamed at work. But then I immediately got an email saying it went through, so I don't know what happened. All I know is I got a mega bundle waitin' for me

I didn't get my hands on a forever cover. YET. If they are eventually sold out before I can snag one hopefully one of you fine people will be able to help me out someday.

No autographs this time around or a count of how limited something is (like the WL lithograph). A bit disappointed by that but it can't be the same every time. Plus the box looks cool and I'll see how much foo stuff I can fit in there

I bought the mega bundle with Seattle (living the '90 with seattle...) cover and 3 other with Chicago, Forever and NY cover.

It's a great idea, 9 press with 9 cover...but it's really expensive to buy in one-shot!!! (shipping to Italy is 70 $ for mega bundle and 3 vinyl + taxes)

About the wooden box mega bundle: nice, not signed but...(like the word of Popepo23) they can't make the same every time. This time all the stuff , excluding the box, is available on other solutions of preorder...it's not the best solution IMHO (WL deluxe had an exclusive tshirt)...i hope also the box is hand numbered and in a download mp3 (not included now).

I got New York because it was my favourite looking cover and i've been there. I thought maybe i'd get LA as well and keep one sealed but it ended up over 80 dollars to ship to Australia so I decided i'd just stick with NYC. I'm just hoping most people go for the middle one so the rest remain relatively rare.

I went ahead and got the Mega Bundle with the Forever cover. As soon as I saw that bad boy up impulse buy mode kicked in! I was hoping a Blu-Ray or DVD of the show would be included in the deluxe package though...

Also hoping it is numbered. Got #2 on the Wasting Light litho.

I also went with mega bundle. My cover choice was Seattle, for obvious reasons, of course, but also as one that has more space to it, not the claustrophobic confines of big city. And also it has that famous Seattle spire which looks like a flying saucer, so it was a no-brainer really

The album cover image is excellent, but the concept of the nine cover options is eerily similar to RHCP's 'I'm With You' sessions group of 7"s - at least they came with a holder so you could display them altogether on the wall to make the pattern.

Having said that, I've gone with the mega bundle with Forever... *insert shipping cost rant*
