I will say I'm significantly more impressed with Live Nation (with this store anyway) than I've ever been before. Parcels are shipped tight in the most minimal space which is super important for volume issues with intl reshipper agents like what I use, and the postage rates on volume in the US are incredibly good.

Most importantly, US shipments have ZERO pricing data on the invoice - you get actual unit volume only - so there is nothing to trap customs on a declared price even if they open everything and look hard.

I'm pretty much good here anyway as our limit is around $270 US, but it may deff help UK folk looking at items a chunk cheaper in the US store. Only your stupid low C&E rates will be the real issue - but it might make some stuff a bit cheaper of at least worth looking at when it's not in the UK store at all.
Ah, that's good to know. Customs charges can put me off ordering from the US store.

Got a nice quick response, they are waiting for stock to come into the warehouse so you were correct. Hopefully it won't take too long.

Just picked up a Foo Fighters postcard with the 'Exhausted promo' artwork on it which was handed out along with the 1995 This Is A Call single sided promo, I believe? I just need the other one with the UFO's on, they just seem to be much rarer.

Hello all, I've been busy framing and hanging. It was scary handling posters that have been in a tube for roughly 2 years but all were still in the mint/original condition. I have several others being framed that will be displayed soon. Just wanted to post some of my lastest Foo items displayed

So... A few days ago me and a close friend saw incubus/jimmy eat world. It was a groupon deal for $12 each so we couldn't pass. Anyway during the show my friend went to the restroom and came back saying " I've got a poster for you!"
Haha it's a lil beat up but still cool

Makes the fact they played it a bit more special.

I love the fact 'BEER' is written on there too. Twice!

I haven't seen the set lists for the other shows where songs debuted, but highly likely each printed SL did not have the new song one it - but something else.

What I found most interesting are the question marks - whether that is "if we have time let's slip something else in" or if they are starting to try and add a space just to play "whatever they feel like" when they get there. Things definitely got switched around a bit after Arlandria, with Rope effectively being the "hidden" song but still out of order to the list.

Great to see Call being played, but honestly I'd give anything to see an entire setlist of B-Sides and non singles. And I bet even people that didn't know the songs at all wouldn't mind a bit.

Finally I'd give anything to hear a new song called BEER BEER

Something a little bit unusual - I haven't often seen band signed gig tickets. Especially nice as I was at the gig.

A matching pair from the last NZ Vector Arena gig of the 2008 ESPG tour both signed by Dave & Taylor.

Frontier Touring are pretty cool too - they still have old gig promo data up
https://www.frontiertouring.com/reta...erchant_id/659

And yes I laugh at all the price complainers - that is $101.50 NZ a seat NINE years ago.

That's crazy (cool)... although (bare with me):

now that would be about 60ish... back in 2008 it would have converted to about 40. (or in US dollars $80 at the time, or the same now).

Comparatively for us its cheaper but still... a bit pricey (especially as y'know, it's done on local currency).

It's funny you say Rope was the "hidden" song. While we were waiting for the support to start, Chris popped out to check his guitar pedal and basically played the opening to it! It was a bit of a gimme that they'd play it after that.

And I'd love to hear 'Beer Beer' too! Maybe it's track 12 on C&G?

Yeah currency conversion is no doubt another thing that touring bands have to consider to some degree. Now a gig is likely to be $150 up depending on who it is and what tickets you want - changes a lot especially if there are seating options. So that would be around 85 and up.

But yes definitely things have been screwed by Brexit. I make that 101.50 around 34.50 in 2007. Our dollar would have gotten 34 pence then, It gets pretty much 60 today. Which is a crazy difference, but in each country to a home person it has no affect. But it sure would to a band touring the UK wanting to keep prices around what people expect and not just get the same US dollar value THEY expect - you'd get wild swings in price in some countries.

The original FF store blurb about collecting all the coins is making more sense now. Caljam and other events are highly likely to have them I'd say.. and maybe even different metals? So far - Gold, Silver and Brass...

Joined blurbs from C&G sets and Metro gig coins:

G&G Coins

Metro Merch
