I dig the more hardcore grungy songs. But what ever they put out, Im more than happy to listen to it over and over and over, etc.

Haha. It's almost like he felt guilty for abusing that tuning on One By One (5 out of 11) that he hasn't really gone back to it since. FFL, Spill, and Bangin' are all in Dropped D but none of them made the album.

I say either make a sprawling epic (with a fair share of heavy Foo) or just go for broke and crank those amps to eleven.

I agree. i would maybe include better off a WL B-side

Definitely agree we need more with Taylor singing. He has a gorgeous voice. Really liked him doing the Floyd cover at Reading.

I kind of agree, I like IYH but think they have found a great combination of the styles that really really works. More WL with added grunge and more White Limo style songs

First I'd like to hear a Dave Grohl solo album in the vein of the IYH acoustic disc, but with musicians who could really make the quiet / more acoustic dynamic. I like the IYH disc but the performances aren't really on par with the greatness of the songs IMO. If I remember right the acoustic disc was originally composed with solo album intent - now could be a good time to make such record with seasoned session players who really could take the soft dynamic to the max.

After that I'd like to hear a powerful, melodic FF album inspired by the 3 first albums. They got the melodies I've always loved. Hell, even Weenie Beenie has a catchy melody in its chorus!

Nothing against Taylor but I don't personally want to hear him singing more lead vocal songs. I certainly want them to keep up with the extensive backing of Chris and Taylor though.

I know it's not everyone's favourite, but it would be good if they made one or two Come Back/I Should Have Known style songs, really expressive/emotional. Then again, it needs a stand out song, because with WL it felt like they were all equally matched.

Even better if it went in a completely new direction, and not reverting back to old ideas. Like mixing a bit of metal in or going experimental.

It would be cool to see them explore some of their more obscure influences, like Rush. Rope was a cool step in that sort of direction.

Also, a new Taylor song so he can finally stop doing "Cold Day" at gigs!
