Of course, technically speaking, “The Republic of Ireland” isn’t in “The United Kingdom” so they didn’t have to announce it with these 3.
Longitude seems to be the only real festival option but it's not exactly a rock festival, it's more like V Festival with pop/dance stuff. So their own show seems more likely.

So how‘s that resale working? Easy? Can I sell tickets from Gigs & Tours on Seeticket as well? Or is Seeticket doing a presale too? Only got the link to G&T.

Are they offering print@home to make delivery easy?

Don‘t want to use Viagogo or Seatwave. Scalpers.

Thanks for you help. Much appreciated.
I would doubt you can sell tickets from other companies on there, i would think it's only for their tickets (they can trace them) however i may be wrong, there's a list of T&C's for a Friday evening's fun if you go take a look.

theres rumours of a a show happening in Croke Park (80000) or Aviva Stadium (50000) the weekend before the UK shows. Possibly they might play a field venue like Marley Park, Malahide castle, Phoenix Park etc

id take a stadium gig over a field anyday

Longitude is an extension of Latitude and if you look at headliners for either they’re always a bit left-field or at best would headline the 2nd stage at another festival... which is reflected in the size (I think the capacity last year was 15,000).

Who knows though?

Don’t Croke Park only allow gigs out of season?

Yeah looking at past headliners they've never been that big. Which suggests the budget doesn't stretch that far.

As you say though since Ireland isn't part of the UK they can announce their own show separately. Slane was announced on its own last time IIRC.

I think TRNSMT would be a good shout for a Scottish show, I still think they'll do Reading Festival, they've not been in five years, the last one is still one of the best setlists I've seen them play in person.

I agree I doubt they'll add any more UK shows, unless they tag on to existing dates.

Oh.. I'm off to see Billy Joel at Old Trafford on Saturday 16th, and then (hopefully tickets willing) the Foos at the Eithad a couple of days later..

Oh I also wonder if the Foo's will be the first announced for Reading, as don't they normally announce a headliner in November? Could be why Foo's tickets are on sale in Oct...

I don't get why bands keep ticket prices "secret" until they go on sale.. is that they think people will get caught up and be in "buy mode" so buy tickets whatever the price..

This week I bought tickets for The Streets, and they didn't release ticket prices until they went on sale.. there has to be a reason for this.. I don't believe they don't know the prices yet. All feels very cynical to me.

I think that's exactly it, yes. I guess promoters/ticket sites have a/b tested it in the past and found it works.

Ok so I'm new here but not new to foos gigs. I'm hoping to secure tickets to the Manchester Etihad gig which will be wife and mines 6 time. Absolutely love the band and recently at the o2 they were the best I've seen them... what I'm posting for is this. Can someone please point me in the direction to what I sign up to whether it be a newsletter or store something I've read which will get me a presale code for tickets for manchester. I've got added pressure of another couple hoping to join me and the Mrs on this one and I stupidly said I'd sort it. Just wanna give myself the best chance of getting tickets... if anyone here can help or pm me I'd appreciate it, even buy u a pint if I see you at the Etihad ;-)

Apart from the official foo store email, which you had to buy the album before a certain date, there isn't another pre sale for Manchester at the moment.

You have as much chance as anyone in the general sale.
