Got tickets for Manchester in Tuesday's pre sale - so excited! Just a quick question and probably me being overly anxious about these things, but did anyone have an option for the tickets to be delivered? The only option I had (on Gigs and Tours) was to print them at home. I've done this for plenty of gigs before and had no issues, but never for such a large venue before. Not sure if I was just in a mad panic and didn't even see that there was another option, but there's something about printing the tickets at home that doesn't feel as legit to me and I get nervous about being turned away! I saw people saying they had to put in passport numbers and such when they ordered, but I never had that option. Also I've never purchased through a pre-sale before so there's part of me that worries I've been scammed or something it's all too good to be true

When I saw Radiohead recently, they were very strict with ID and each ticket holder had to be named when I purchased them, in order to avoid touts etc. Not hating on the Foos but I think this would be a great idea for next time!

Yeah, saw that, it would be cool if they played the UK shows too!
Seeing them next Friday in Birmingham but would happily see them again in June.

I believe so yes, went on the first of two nights I think.

Anyway, good luck to all who are in the ticket hunt tomorrow... don't give up straight away as some will come available when people time out and then they get put back into the fold.

Logging into my G&T in my order conformation for my Foo Fighters tickets it says

This order was printed at home, please take them to the venue at the time of the event with suitable identification.
Your E-tickets (Print-at-home) aren't ready just yet. You'll receive an email when they're available.

So it appears there may be ID checks which would be a good thing.
Hopefully people will pay attention this time.
I have to say I didn’t notice this when I booked them though

Yeah, mine just says:

'You will receive a further email with your print at home tickets at a later date.'

Nothing about ID but I imagine after problems that happened at the O2, there will be reminders for people to bring ID with them!

There are no id checks. This would have had to have been part of the terms and conditions before tickets were ordered.

There was no such term.

The 02 gig had a specific warning before you purchased the tickets.

I just ticked the box and agreed with the T&C, more worried about the clock ticking down.
Did anyone read through all the T&C before making their purchase?

The bit about ID is on the Gigs and Tours website when you log in and go into your account and look at your orders.

Ah yeah it does say that on the actual site. Wonder why a bigger deal wasn't made out of it though. I doubt there'll be ID checks if that's the case, probably just says that as a precaution with print at home tickets in case there's any problems i dunno.

Was tempted with the Glasgow gig but I have Metallica in Glasgow a couple of days later. Didn't want the stress of catching last train home followed by late night bus twice in a week.

Doesn't it always say about bringing ID though?

I've always brought my drivers licence to gigs just in case there is an issue but I don't think it's ever actually been checked.

I really don't imagine they will be doing ID checks and turning people away like they did for the O2.

Looks like the London Stadium "pre-sale" is standing only (blue badge too), and physical tickets, not print at home (there's a delivery fee of £5.95)
