I don't mean to be mean. I am wondering if I should have ever started this thread. oh well. Thanks for sharing picks pictures! If there are any others out there that we haven't shared, please do so! It is neat to see them all. Now I'm only missing that white shifty pick me thinks.

Nice picks Em!

Does anyone know which series of Dunlop they are? Custom, obviously, but what's the thickness? They look like 1.00 or 2.00 mm.

You've earned more than just getting picks! It was so cool to see Dave acknowledge you from the stage. Fuck, after 50+ shows you should be a member of the band!

I know nothing about guitar pick sizes as I do not play guitar. But I do happen to have an older one of Nate's that says the size - .88 mm. Is the higher the number the thinner it is (Since you guessed 1 or 2 and this is .88)? Because I can visibly tell that Nate's are slightly thicker than the picks for the guitarists. I assume this is because he plays bass and needs a thicker one on the thicker strings. But this may help you gauge the size of the others perhaps. ?

higher = thicker

If Nate's picks are just slightly thicker then the others are probably .73 mm or .60 mm.

Thanks Emily.

Got it. I found another (nonfoo) pick in my house and it was .60 mm and I held it up to a FF Dave pick and it appears to be the same size.

Good stuff. I wonder if anyone's ever asked them why they choose that particular thickness.

I use 3.0 mm picks but they don't have bad ass Foo logos or Nate's pussy on them.

Wow that sounds like a big size difference from theirs...

It's a huge difference. I use it because it's easier to grip, harder to lose, and has a much faster, more positive attack than thinner picks. I only have three handy when I play and have never lost one.

While their picks aren't as thick they have a flatter, more printable surface.

I just found a plain dunlop purple guitar pick that I have that I think may have been Dave's. I can't remember. But I held it up to ESPG and it does look the same too. This one says .71 mm so that may be the case and I may have been mistaken guessing it was the .60. Guess if we really want to know I'd have to ask my friend BB. If this purple pick I have WAS a grohl pick (probably) then it must be .71

Hey Emily! Nice collection you have. I just came across this thread. I believe I might be able to help you out. I need to double check, but I think I have an extra Saul Goode pick (Nate's). I am looking for a "Silence" gray pick. Maybe we can trade? Let me know. Thanks!

Sorry Emily. After reading the entire thread, I saw that you already have a Saul Goode pick. I am looking for a "Silence" gray pick from the ESPG tour. If anyone has an extra, let me know. Maybe we can trade or something. Thanks!
