![]() They played last night and after seeing setlists from Europe, I was hoping for hey JP and/or Generator.
Nope. Just extended and extended jams. Even the 1st song, the pretender, was extended out. 😕 and the usual “we got a LOT to play, we’ll play until they kick us out!!” Which translates to “we will play the usual set list and leave at the time they had us down for finishing”. 17 songs (I don’t count a drum solo and the introductions as songs....and a drum solo at a festival? Seriously?) sure don’t seem like a band that has a lot to play. Dave’s voice started giving out about 3/4 of the way, I don’t see how he can keep going and touring with that screaming This will probably be my last show for a long while.

![]() A friend of my wife was there, was her first Foo concert, and she texted my wife the next day saying that she was not impressed with the show either, that they jammed too much on a lot of the songs and then it sounded like they just sang the chorus over and over.
Pretty sad when a lesser known band such as Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats played they ass off and (in my opinion) was a MUCH better show than the Foos.

![]() Don’t know if the comparison is fair as the FF have their stadium routine with the dont bore us get to the chorus theme flavoured with the Paul Stanley-esque frontman stage show but agree on Nathaniel Rateliff and his band being awesome!

Maybe that's the problem...they have a routine. And unfortunately, it is boring.

![]() Pilgrimage was much better than Bourbon. But, they ended early at Pilgrimage, and did cut Generator and This is a Call. But, we got Hey JP and Congregation.
