Anything off One By One... Although I'd been into them long before this, when I heard tracks off this - esp All My Life - I was just like 'HOW FREAKIN' COOL IS THIS????'

Definitely Peace Sells. I heard it once, and haven't looked back.

aurora.

my brother would play tcats in his car, and all i knew is that dave grohl was the guy from nirvana who formed foo fighters. when i heard breakout, it was what i expected (not to say that it's not awesome). but when aurora came on, i was stunned. since then, they've been my favorite band.

not the most obvious song but "down in the park" - it was on an X-files soundtrack and my awareness of the foos grew from then on...

The song that got me hooked was All My Life, no question. I saw it earlier this year in a TV commercial and I was like "oh yeah I remember that Foo Fighters song from a few years ago". So I got the song, then collected the albums. Now I'm obsessed, lol.

The first song I heard by Foos was Monkey Wrench about 4-5 years ago and I've been loving this band ever since.

New Way Home I think, it was on a Doc Martins compilation from some years back.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but we have a Frequent Post Archive for a reason. There are a lot of responses on here now so instead of closing it down I'll move this thread there and it can be ONE MORE thread that has been talked into the ground.

Thank you.

I would say Learn to Fly..the video is hilarous! Dave Grohl is awesome. Good sense of humour. I have liked them ever since but just bought their new album in your honour when it came out. "Best of You" is just amazing. The lyrics get me everytime. Did anyone see when Dave Grohl was on Craig Kilbourn when he played "Tiny Dancer"? How he wanted to create the scence from Almost Famous...best cover ever!
