Default Times Like These Acoustic Cover

I also have two other covers on my soundcloud, All My Life and The Pretender. If you like those, check out my originals.

But, on the topic of TLT it's one of my favorites, especially the acoustic version.

PS: I know the sound quality is marginal at best, but I don't have the cash for good home equipment.

I'll take your criticism, which is fine, but I've honestly never heard that before. With over 1,000 total listens to that page, friends family and total strangers you're the first to say that.

Ignore the terrible off beat acoustic drumming I thought I deleted at the end, and still tell me if you don't like my voice.

Just personally, I've never been told that.

I like it. I like the folkier take, kind of reminds me of Jack Johnson. About your singing quality, I completely disagree with what Don't Give A...n Always Moaning said. A bit of practise is needed, yeah, but the potential is clearly there. Also, how much singing experience have you had? People who don't sing underestimate how long it takes to get used to singing lead, especially when confidence is an issue, it also takes some balls not to layer your vocals.

Wasn't relevant to what's here, it's just the picture you've painted of yourself generally over time here.

If you were on key and didn't sound like you were giving up on some notes, the vocals would be good. But some just drop off, and some just break flat. It's not enjoyable. I think you probably have a naturally good voice, but you don't know how to use it. The guitar is pretty good.

Yeah, I think practise and a bit more 'go for it' is needed with the vocals.

Exactly. Although, I posted that before I heard the "screaming" part at the end. I think that should just be avoided in general.
