Awesome.

Watched it on 4OD last night and can see myself at points, clapping a lot when Dave walks over to get his award. Luckily I was able to fast forward PJ Harvey, a pleasure I didn't get in real life!

I have to say though they cut it fairly poorly if we were actually supposed to believe that they played those 3 songs in that order. First song; sweaty Dave and Taylor, second song fresh Dave and Taylor, third song really sweaty Dave and Taylor!

Just me being pedantic I'm sure but it fucked me off for some reason.

Yeah it was and I was disapointed with that too.

I'd love to see the entire set one day, presuming it was all filmed. Obviously I know this wont happen until the album is released at the earliest but it must be the only live recording of Wasting Light with a proper TV crew in existence at present.

^^ i love the 'part four' clip of the show that has the montage of a bunch of dave's friends talking about how great of a musician and person he is. it's really funny at the end too because dave interrupts taylor's interview about him! haha!

There was a funny interview shown in the afternoon that isn't online. A woman interviewed Dave, Pat and Chris then Nate and Taylor seperatly. First they got them to test out their award acceptance speeches with fake awards. Pat thanked France for his (best facial expressions on stage I think) and Nate's was best Dave Grohl impression. He said Taylors was better, and he did one which was quite amusing.

It's on my DVR that i'll capture and upload if it doesn't show up online.

The Who's Roger Daltrey sings lead vocals on Foo Fighters' cover of 'Young Man Blues' at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2011.

Dang it, I searched for this thread specifically to link to this very same video!

Oh well, at least this increases the likelyhood of us getting the rest of the set.
