We did wonder, but if fans had been invited it would have been on here/Facebook. Plus werent really any fans in the world guest area looking super excited bar myself
I think it was just for family and friends. Anyone with the club rami wristband! Anyone with it also got free drinks at the guest bar and foos were paying the tab!

The few times I’ve been in Club Rami is been mostly flight attendants and hotel staff. Plus a few friends of the band/crew etc.

Gosh that was a bit disappointing wasn't it? I mean, teasing so much but delivering so little... in terms of the actual setlist, compared to 2012..

I suppose its the same with all bands when they get older, they want to play newer stuff and/or don't think casual fans will know older stuff. The irony being that the less they play the older stuff, the less likely people are to know it.. I'll freely admit that I didn't know much from the first few albums when I started seeing them live, but that changed, I knew the singles, (Big Me, This Is A Call.. but the rest?).

The Foo's deliver a show, they always deliver a good show, but if you've been there when they've gone off book, and have delivered a GREAT show, then anything than that high is a little less satisfying, you know what a great meal is like, so even if you have a good meal, you know there's something missing.. doesn't mean you don't enjoy it, but you could've enjoyed it more.

There's lots of talk about the 25th Anniversary, you know what I'd love, Foo's play two shows, completely different set lists each night.. they've got more than enough songs to play two full shows, think about all the tracks from their albums we'll never hear live again... I for one miss them - Billy Bragg is touring playing 3 shows in each town, each show has tracks from 2 of his albums, so over three nights you can see tracks from 6 different albums.. Enter Shikari at Leeds / Reading did something similar...

Wouldn't we all love that?

Pearl jam don't. Everytime I've seen them it been an entirely different set list and they manage to sell gigs out every time. In London anyeay!

Pearl Jam are a bit different as they don't generally have those big stand out pop singles that everyone knows...their albums are full of great songs; non-singles stand up well against those more well known songs. So they can play most album tracks live and still have a generally consistent setlist. If that makes sense.

RHCP manage it too, and they definitely have well known hits.

No point going back and forth with different examples I guess the band have got a setlist that works for them and they’re not going to change it because of a few posts on a forum

Love that about Frank Carter, the King!! During Leeds he and Deano watched start of the set from the back, I didnt notice for a while but they were with their girlfriends so didn't bother them.

I think the funky wristbands and AA passes were all allowed into Club Rami.

Yeah, Frank was busy with some heavy PDA with his gf when I saw him too so I didn't bother him either

One of my friends went in that tent for a bit because she had a higher level of access than me, but I think she just went to speak to one of the Rattlesnakes cause she knows em. I don't think the Foos were around at that point, it was right after they finished their set.
