Default does back and forth + vh1 = heavy edit?

should i assume the longer running time attributed to the saturday evening airing of "back and forth" means:

a)less editing, thus the more correct runtime for the doc

or

b) merciless editing and amped up commercial breaks, which i've come to expect from vh1

i know you all may not know as well....just kinda looking for the consensus opinion here - thanx

My TV says 1:45 runtime. Assuming that means 30 min of commercials leaves it only 1:15. How long was it in theaters?

According to VH1, this will be commercial free. I'm not sure if they will bleep out the cursing, but they are advertising it as commercial free.

Hope that helps.

I don't know about VH1, but Palladia do not usually bleep things out. I saw Skin and Bones on there one time and the cussing was left in.

that's why i asked about the saturday airing...i'm pretty sure with a run time of 140 to 150 minutes, they're going to edit fairly heavily for a two hour slot...commercials or not...

Cool so it will be commercial free. I can handle the fucking bleeps because we all fucking know what they're fucking saying anyways.

I heard it was only commercial free on VH1 Classic but the runtime for regular VH1 is the same so it must be commercial free or atleast I hope so. I'm ready for a solid 2 hours of behind the scenes Foo Fightin' action.

Is there anything other than swearing that would have to be edited out? I'm watching it with my dad so will there be any awkward moments?

There's a bit where Dave goes into a strip club.

Are you serious?

I saw this movie in the theater, and I have it on TV right now-
it's only the first 10 minutes but it totally seems shorter & edited.

Palladia was censored too, but it played the whole thing. With this and the Wembley footage, they're playing their music videos in between to make up for the extra time.
