Default Screwed by Foo Fighters for Rupp Arena cancellation

Thanks Foo Fighters for cancelling October 21st. My wife and I drove 100 miles before we found out it was postponed due to family emergency. I bought the tickets through stub hub and they said I could resell them. The concert was a Saturday night and was changed to a Tuesday night in May that I cannot attend. I have to resell the tickets and will lose money on them due to there is not a lot of demand for tuesday night concerts. Foo Fighters should have bought back all the tickets even the ones bought on resellers. I have lost out on $90 of service fees that will not be refunded.

1. There are more important things in life than a concert. Family for one.

2. Rant at stubhub. You made the choice to buy them from there. The foos didnít force you to purchase the tickets from a secondary market scalper site.

3. Get a grip.

If you had a family emergency wouldn't you be off work for a little bit, it's unfortunate that it was your night which was cancelled but shit happens, I had our foos concert cancelled a day before the Wembley gig due to his broken leg, you chose to buy tickets reseller scum and no the foos shouldn't give you money because all ticket refunds go to the original ticket buyer

I had just gotten there when they cancelled and had to drive 2 1/2 hrs home too. It sucks, but life happens. At least they rescheduled. How long has it been since they stopped in Lexington anyway?

Also, why didn't you just buy from verified sellers on Ticketmaster? Then you could have worked out a refund. Tickets were barely marked up the day of the show on there.

Exactly.

The guys have lives and family outside the band which are their number 1 priority.

The rescheduling of a show is not an easy thing - with lots of dates already booked both by the band and the venue we are lucky they managed to reschedule at all.

Plenty of people travelled hundreds of miles to the show, myself included, and whilst disappointed we understood the decision.

Suck it up buttercup.

All original ticket holders were offered a refund. If Stubhub didn't pass that refund on to yourself, that is down to Stubhub, not the band. Their obligation doesn't go beyond refunding the original ticket purchaser.

What you are asking for is for them to refund a ticket twice, which isn't going to happen.

I'm sorry you've lost money, but your problem lies squarely with Stubhub, not Foo Fighters.

I typed a reply a couple of times and deleted it. I realize I have nothing more to add to what has already been posted other than:

Family is most important.

I'm sorry you lost money. I hope you can obtain a refund from Stubhub.

Good Luck.
