Thanks but I am not into tribute acts.

I notice that the Foo Fighters UK tribute act had to cancel their show after Glasgow ABC was badly damaged by the fire at the Glasgow School of Art. Most other acts moved elsewhere.

I have no idea about the Pearl Jam tribute act. It would be nice if Pearl Jam would actually play here as they haven't since 2000.

As an old man who’s been going to see Foo Fighters since 1995, when Dave plays Breakout and dedicates it to “the old school Foo fans” I’m thinking “fuck these 3rd album come lates”.

Took the words outta my mouth.

Was there a circle/pit with wristbands at Manchester? Anyone know? Cheers loves.

Looking at photos of the initial set up, before the crowds entered, there was no golden circle area.

Cheers.

They didn't have one a few years agp at Murrayfield but did split the crowd with the stage (and throne runway) going down the middle 3rd of the pitch.

Nope no circle pit.

I loved that gig! Sat in the unreserved seating an danced the whole night. Loved Dave teasing bout 'losing his voice' a subtle dig to that AN/NME article

Side note. I met the band at Manchester Piccadilly today and it was a dream come true.

I had an interesting night. I got onto the barrier on the side of the runway. Not long after they came on someone landed on me very awkwardly it wasn’t their fault they were pushed into me. It really hurt. They put all their weight into my ankle as they came down which is already not my best point cos it’s nevr been the same since it broke a few years ago. Kinda spoiled the rest of the night. So after a couple of songs I decided to move to avoid making it worst and got a seat. I enjoyed the gig once I’d moved.

Gonna see how I feel today maybe go and get checked out. Need to be better by Friday for London!

I have been tweeting the stadium to rty and find out about an inner circle/pit. No answer as of yet. There was one for the AC/DC gig in 2016 which also had a runway. Fingers Crossed!!

I'm seeing Deftones tonight (back on gig week) so tomorrow would work better for me. After the James Corden shindig

Also hoping for pit on friday. Have become incredibly annoying to my friends planning my evening. I'm meeting them after the show as they don't have my levels of dedication

I don't think it would be tomorrow night - aren't they going to be to the Kerrang awards? I know they are nominated for a few awards, so guess they will show up

Anyone know where I can get a Manchester shirt? I fainted towards the end of the gig and missed out on getting one. Also, if you helped a random girl at the gig last night, thank you very much! couldn’t have been nicer
