Default Proposal at the Toronto show

[Preemptive note: I'm not asking for the band to bring us up on stage or anything like that, just looking tap into the wisdom of the crowd]

I'm going to ask at the show tomorrow night. I'm not a creative guy but I want to make this a memorable moment for my lady and I'm kinda stuck. I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas for how to make my proposal special? Any thoughts?

We've been together for a few years and it's amazing. I'm sure she will accept, only we always joke together about how we would never get married. I'm nervous just writing this! Still, she will say yes, right?

My thought as well. I'm trying to think if there's a "particular moment" during the show that might lend itself well to such a thing too?

Maybe during the pick-up in Everlong begins to hit the final chorus... but yet again, what if they somehow had to stop the show or didn't play the song?!

Okay, her favorite song that also has the quietest beginning. Do it at the start of the song
If you have a seat, tell the guy next to you what you plan on doing so he can give you some room when the time comes.
Best of luck!!!!

I don't think they would ever not play Everlong. Hell, I've been to shows where they've played it TWICE!
Good luck tomorrow!

Right! But I would just worry if it was the ONE time they had a technical snafu or a voice gave out or, if outdoors, it rained like it did in Quebec that one time.

If you do it during the extended jam/noodle in The Pretender - you’ll have time to ask, cry, get congratulated by bystanders, FaceTime your parents & possibly even book a venue. Then get back to concert not having missed anything..

Hell, even during the band introductions. Then she could say yes to the tune of "hey, ho, let's go"

edited to remove details

Thanks for the input so far. I love The Pretender, not as fond of Everlong, but going by lyrics Everlong is the right choice. We’ll be in the 100s so if I do this tonight I’ll be getting on one knee on the grubby, sticky Rogers Centre floor. Ew! But maybe that adds to the romanticism of the moment? I don’t know!

YES, ask a trusted friend their opinion on all this. I had a seat at the Rogers Centre for a Foo show, floor wasn't that bad but covered in beer.
Perhaps you could rest a knee on the seat while everyone else is standing

What about during My Hero when Dave goes down the walkway? Its a quieter bit so at least she'll hear you! That would help.

Do it before the show. Enjoy the whole concert as an engaged couple.

The last thing you want is the guy behind you puking, too many people screaming, and beer soaked clothing as you bend on one knee is a crowded space.

I chickened out. It never felt like the right moment.

Gotta say, Rogers Centre is not a good venue for a show. The sound sucked. The seats don't leave a lot of room. The band was awesome, as always but I would not go to another show there.

Anyway, looking forward to Saturday night!

Bummer! Now you'll have to come back when you seize the day and pop the question, I want to know how this goes

I heard Toronto got a bit of a scare prior to the concert with a threat of a van attack...The interwebs say police handled it brilliantly and no one was at risk of harm, so i'm glad to see everyone still got to have a top night!

The sound did suck and while a lot of that is on the venue some of it was the band's (or at least their crews) doing as well. Dave's guitar was a lot louder than Chris's. The only time you could hear Chris's guitar clearly was when Dave wasn't playing.
