Agree, just IMO of course but if you're going to record a gig with your phone for others to enjoy, it'll be much better to just put it in a shirt pocket or somewhere else in the 'open' so it's not muffled, hit record and then just enjoy the show yourself.

Livestreaming might please a hundred or two fans online at the time, but it means you have to lose your enjoyment somewhat. Hit record, forget it, and have fun.

For the shows I've been to I've recorded the first few seconds of a song to remember which ones they played later and went crazy for the rest of the song

I have a little tripod spider thing that I use - I just stick it on the barrier and press record.

No way I can do the Cosmo if I want to keep this trip affordable. I'll keep me eyes peeled for a decent resort at a better rate.

Some places make me take it down....if they do I just get on with enjoying the show. I stream if I can do it without detracting from my enjoyment

I didn't realize there were seats unless you want to pay thousands for a box. Seat would be nice.

I was very curious that there were NO seats (only GA) listed ANYWHERE for this show be it during the original onsale or resale. I called the Cosmopolitan to inquire about this and was transferred to the concierge. First of all, he congratulated me on getting tickets at all. As we all know it sold out very quickly and is a hot ticket item. He was fairly vague, but he said it was common for shows like this to hold back seats for VIP, fanclub(huh?), and special ticket sales (i.e. Amex, etc). He didn't discourage purchasing tickets on the secondary market in general, but STRONGLY recommended calling the venue before purchasing any SEATED tickets for this show on the secondary market because he highly doubted the legitimacy of such a ticket becoming available.

Probably just meant "fan club" in general for bands that do use them.

Hi, I know this is a long shot but if anyone is unfortunate enough to not make the gig and wants to sell their tickets (1 or 2) I'm coming over from UK to see Misfits on 28 December and rolling this up with the Foos on NYE would be amazing!

DM me please!

I just randomly checked Ticketmaster and they had Floor GA tickets. I just purchased one for the NYE show. This is going to be one hell of a night!

So jealous of everyone that's going! When they first announced their NYE show, I looked at flights to LV from here, but they were in the CDN $600 - $700 range, ouch. During 'normal times' we're able to fly to LV for $250 or so.

Yup. My flight cost $750. Hotels are also outrageous on NYE.
