Default Your favourite Foo Fighters album

OK guys, I know this isn't the most original idea for a thread/poll, but with Wasting Light out there, I thought this would be an interesting time to do actually see if it's recent inclusion in the canon has changed things. For me it hasn't. TCATS is, and always will be my favourite.

Anyway, have a vote, and please post WHY it's the favourite of yours. Be cool to have a little oasis of nostalgia in this ocean of the new.

(Have not included Skin and Bones nor Greatest Hits here, for reasons that should be obvious)

This new one and TCATS are 1 and 1A now. I'll always have something special in my heart for every release though. Cheers:>

TINTL

Simply based on the perfect harmonies and no ounce of try-hardness in one song.

I honestly like the new cd the most. All the others had moments that were forgettable. The new one doesn't really, though some tracks are less desirable, but that comes with most discs. The fact I haven't heard it a zillion times yet helps its case too

Probably should've done this when the honeymoon period was over...

Too early to accurately judge, because everytime a new record comes out, I'm convinced it's my favourite, after The Colour and the Shape. Wasting Light could come in ontop of that one, but only time will tell. Ask me again in six months

Wasting light is a close second, but I grew up to TCATS. Can't deny the sentimental value.

I've only heard IYH, Greatest hits and Wasting light more than five times so i'd go for Wasting light with the provision that it might change when i've given the back catalogue a good thrashing.

Foo Fighters in 1995 but that was basically a Dave solo album, The Colour And The Shape is the first real Foo Fighters album as a band.

TCATS isn't just their best album, it's one of the best alternative rock albums ever. But I do love the first album in a close second.
And I'm relieved no one has said One by One.

This might surprise some of you, but I'd say that Wasting Light is my favourite, partly because it introduced me to the Foo Fighters, and partly because it's their most consistent set of songs ever in an album. There Is Nothing Left to Lose comes in a very close second, though.

1. The Colour and the Shape
2. There is Nothing Left to Lose
3. Foo Fighters (debut)

It's tough after this, a close race between Wasting Light and In Your Honor, but I'd have to say overall 4. would be Wasting Light. I think those top three are a fair amount ahead of WL, however.
