Default Quality of Foo Store items

What is the quality of the T-shirts or other items from the Foo store? I liked a couple of the shirts they had at the concert for sale but the material was ridiculously thin and cheap. The prices were more also. Thanks.

I just got a shirt from the store, the long sleeved gray one with just the words "Foo Fighters" on it in black. I was expecting a regular long sleeved shirt because i have another band shirt that looked like it would be similar, but it is very thin cotton. It's very comfortable, a kind of thin sweater, and I think I prefer it to regular shirts, but I haven't washed it yet. So I don't know how it goes in the washer/dryer. If anything particularly bad happens, I'll update you...

Ha. The foo store mechandise is so amazingly over-priced, I can't believe anyone buys from there. You can find cool shit on other web sites for 1/2 the price easily.

i think the foo store is the leftovers of the concert shirts, which i agree are super thin. i like them though.

I was actually thinking about buying the Black hoodie and put it into the cart. What happens is with shipping and tax the items cost the same as they did at the concert. I'm figuring that's why there is the price difference - so it all evens out in the end.

I have the lighting bolt shirt & the photo tour shirt. They are pretty thin - but really really comfy. I just washed um today - but didn't put them in the dryer.

It's the same stuff and I've never had a problem with anything. I probably have about 25 T-shirts (although they're not all from the Foo store), three hoodies, a fleece jacket, and the all important Dickies jacket from many moons ago (my favorite)

Oh, and check Ebay....I got some great shirts there

They ARE thin, tissue thin, but that is the style, believe it or not. The heavy shirts are a thing of the past, I think. I wash and wear mine to death and they hold up surprisingly well.

Yeah, I was surprised when my Davey Grolton shirt was so thin...but so far it's washed and dried okay. Most shirts are really thin now.

If you're thin and fit(like me), the shirts they offer now are perfect.

But if you're a bit bigger, the thin, tight shirts aren't very fun. lol

Don't laugh, I am not "fat" but I haven't lost all my weight from having a baby, I NEED the "old style" cotton shirts.

Good info to know, I was going to order, but now I think I will wait.

the store needs a decent regular style baseball cap...sorry if thats unrelated.

I bought 4 tshirts from the rock shop in Vancouver and its thicker cotton cause in pretty sure they just bought the rights to print them themselfs. So i guess its better shirt material...worse graphic print. there holding up though.

never use the dryer!!. just hang dry and the graphics wont crack/fade/wash out nearly as quickly

at least the foo store is cheaper online than at concerts. the girl shirts were going for $30 so i ended up buying a guy crane shirt for 25. online they're only 20.

the shirts are super thin but all my super thin band shirts have been pretty durable. i wear my police shirt once a month and it's still in fine condition.

I have always had good luck with the site store. I have bought transcribed books, cds, sweatshirts, ts etc...I prefer to give money that supports the band directly by buying from them rather than paying a bit less to someone else. I do have to say that the new style of ladies ts (from anywhere) are paper thin. I think they are meant to be worn with a thin tank.

Agree on the thin t's...they are nice and soft, but almost need something else with 'em like you said.
