It does also say a LOT about the crowd when you consider the reception that Kaiser Chiefs got when he played "I Predict a Riot" when compared with Silversun Pickups, Soundgarden, Faith No More and countless other legendary bands that got played in his set.
Bob didn't play those bands. He Didn't take to his decks not much before Hot Rats. His choices were a bit odd in places. The general playlist that was on repeat for the earliest part of the gig was awesome. Some of his choices were a little odd for a Rock gig. I enjoyed it. However the lads I was with hated it. I kept trying to tell them he's a legend but they weren't having any of it.
One guy who came with us (who I only met yesterday; a friend of a friend) only came to see Biffy Clyro. He struggled to even name a single Foo song.

Hot Rats were good.
Jimmy Eat World were ok not really a fan. (Used their set to use the toilet)
Biffy Clyro were very good. I was excited to see them.
Foo's probably played the best set I've ever seen them do. It had enough of the new record and enough of the hits for the casual show. I'm hoping the arena tour will have the full album and some deeper cuts and the hits for the casual fans. They were tight as hell last night too.
Seasick and JPJ was a nice surprise. I loved it.

The fireworks at the end of Everlong were lovely. Added to the celebratory feel.

I think the MK Bowl despite its location was much better than Hyde Park. I was in the circle at HP (which I had to pay more for) but for those beyond and behind it I understand the view and sound was shit. With the bowl being tiered it lends itself better to gigs, kind if like the collosium! Standing in the circle and looking round and those banks of people was by far a more spectuclar view than HP or Wembley in my opinion. I thought the sound system at the Bowl was much better too. Always difficult for these large gigs but it was spot on last night.

Dave's voice is sounding better than ever isn't it? He must have quit smoking, for so many years we've seen him cut the screams and sound like he's struggling but both at Brixton and Wembley earlier in the year and then last night he sounded superb, so clean.

I would love to see Foo's at O2 or somewhere like that. For a start no chance of idiots ruining it but sound at O2 is amazing.

A fairly small arena like the Echo arena in Liverpool for me would be great.

I went yesterday and I too had to listen to people asking 'who is that old bloke inbetween acts?' I just ignored them...

Managed to get a good view though we didn't make it into the inner circle. Was good to hear tracks from the new album, but there's still something special about hearing stuff from the earlier albums.

Agree with other people that the sound quality was excellent, and alot better than Hyde Park or Wembley

I thought some were gonna land on me.

I'd seen the inside of the Bowl on Bullet in a Bible and chilled outside when Muse rehearsed there last summer, but this was the first time in it and despite its location shutting most of MK down for the weekend, venue wise it looked amazing. Somehow it looked bigger than Wembley Stadium from where I was, and it sounded 4 times better than Hyde Park did last weekend.

Hey. I'm new to this but have been a Foo's fan for many years now!!!

Last night was my 10th time seeing them and they did not disappoint. I went to both the Saturday and Sunday shows and they were both fantastic. I think Sunday was marginally better but that was mainly due to the crowd as there didn't seem to be as many morons about and also they seemed more up for it during the support. Jimmy Eat World and Biffy Clyro were great support acts, this was by dream line-up.

I took my boyf for his first Foo's experience yesterday and he loved it!!! Foo Fighters have yet another new fan!

The highlight of my weekend was seeing Taylor running down the walkway with Dave and loving the moment on the Saturday. The set list was good...for the amount of people there you're never going to please everyone and they played the hits everyone (well most) would know as well as mixing it up with tracks from their new album. I was a little disappointed they didn't play some of their other stuff like Big Me and No Way Back as love these, oh and would have also loved to hear Back and Forth as it's my favorite tune on Wasting Light but this would just be on my wish list and you can't have everything unfortunately.

I'm hoping for another smaller arena tour next year as these are great and the atmosphere is completely different! I thought MK was a great outdoor venue and beats Hyde Park!!!

Fingers crossed for those iTunes tickets now!!!

Wembley has been my least favourite venue for a gig ever! It just feels enclosed and lacks atmosphere. For an outdoor gig I prefer grass and trees around cos it's more like a festival atmosphere then..

People who throw piss should be lined up on stage and shot in the back of the head!

Unfortunately it's becoming more and more common now, I got about half a pint chucked on me at Muse last September, dicks!!

From where I was (circile left of stage towards the back) it was obvious who were chucking bottles from within the circle - the security guard told me that if they threw out one "they'd have to throw them all out".

Err..ok, what the FUCK is wrong with that?!

We had beer chucked on us from outside the circle. At least you can tell if it's piss or beer from the temperature on your skin!

I totally enjoyed Saturday,

Got into the inner circle on the left of stage, it was jumpin.
Still not got my voice back and I ache all over!
Thought it was a cracking venue and the weather couldn't have been better.
I took my brother in law, shame he cant remember any of it
