^i had so much fun watching a guy I nicknamed "drunk dad" at the DC show! It's the whole experience, not just the songs & what order they're played in!
You're right.

Hi all -

Tried posting some links to my HD videos from last night, but apparently need to make a bunch of posts first.

Not looking to throw up 15 meaningless posts for no reason, just trying to share some music.

My YouTube channel is the same as my username here - mkdevo.

Bridge Burning, Rope, The Pretender, My Hero, and Learn To Fly are up now, with a bunch more on their way up now.

That's all. Enjoy.

I don't think there should be a line drawn between old and new either. I like the structure of the current setlist as it contains lots of the new album and a mix of older tunes. I'd just like to see some variety with the songs they play from the previous albums, even ESPG.
Well, Phil was being a little more uppity. So I don't get my beer?!

No, I didn't get coffee.

She loves company & she has extra tickets. I now know my way around town a bit. Let's do it! $400 if I fly out of Chicago, $800 from Iowa.

She loved it, had a great time. We were in the seats to the right of the stage, but we stood the whole time, ha. Everyone did.

She's okay I shared a room with her & didn't lose any vital organs.

Talking Re: New York City? Madison Square Garden!

The guys are always consistently good. While this was not the best show I've been to, (have probably been to 15-20 shows), it was solid.

I was in GA and thought the sound wasn't the best. It seemed to muffle Dave's voice, but that is why I usually don't go to huge shows. I was just due for one and I knew I would otherwise not see them had I not gone. GA at MSG is cushy. It's nice not to be packed in like sardines and be pushed around. We didn't walk up to the stage until after Social Distortion and pretty easily got up rather close (9th-11th row maybe?) Fans around us were cool and respectful. And there is no way Bowery Ballroom could fit an adequate number of Foo fans-- maybe the GA..? Have to say that the Beacon was an amazing venue to get to see the guys in during the Skin & Bones tour. That one was probably my favorite show.

Joan Jett rocked! I was psyched to see her and Bob Mould come out to play.

I appreciate the jam sessions because if i wanted to hear the original version, I can just listen to the song on my iPod. And whoever said Dave was lip-synching needs to get her eyes and ears checked. It's probably against his moral code.

Bonus that when I went to grab a drink during my not-so-fave Foo song, I got to run into and say hi to Rami for a brief moment.

Was an awesome show. I was hoping Dave would have broken out the Manson "Holey Grail" guitar he bought a few months ago when in the UK. Great seeing Joan Jett's surprise appearance. *crosses fingers for a borwery show*

All of my videos are now up on YouTube, though no one in this thread seems to care. 14 in total; ~90 minutes of the show. YouTube channel mkdevo.

Anyways, hope some of you enjoy.
