Default Seattle Sonic Highways Show?

Anyone have any insight on if this is happening on Friday? Thanks!

It makes sense. The show's been, so far, keeping to the song order on the record. Last Friday was episode 6 (New Orleans) so this Friday ought to be the "Subterranean" episode in Seattle.

Who knows... right now there are riots in Seattle and New York over the whole Ferguson thing. They band might be too afraid to come here now. Can't blame them for avoiding crazies.

Oh, I don't know that I'd call them *riots* -- Seattle protests are generally pretty peaceful and orderly. (The whole WTO debacle notwithstanding.) The P-I says "more than 100 protesters". That's hardly a riot.

I'm anxiously awaiting the Seattle show announcement, and hope I get lucky enough to attend!

Neumo's is booked Friday night. So is Triple Door. The Moore is booked. The Showbox however... their calendar for both downtown and SODO locations appears to be completely empty...

Nah I wasn't being serious. I think one bank window got smashed in Seattle last night.

Back on topic, Paramount Theatre is also open...

I forgot about the Croc, but they are booked too. I'm starting to wonder if they are skipping Seattle due to the holiday weekend? They deserve to be with their families after all. And it would jibe with Jill saying she wasn't getting any give-away tickets for Seattle.

Maybe they are doing what they did with Austin and having the show the night before NY... I would have thought we would have heard something by now if tickets were to go on sale tomorrow. Looking at last week's post, they announced the NOLA gig at 8am PST on Tuesday.

I actually went back and looked at all the announcements on Facebook. They announced Nashville on a Wednesday morning. They announced LA on a Wednesday afternoon. So even though a lot of the announcements came on Tuesday, there is definitely precedent for a Wednesday announcement also.

Now of course, I am secretly hoping that the *real* reason Jill isn't getting Seattle tickets is because there aren't any... because they're doing an in-store at Easy Street. Which is walking distance from my house. They were just painting the Sonic Highways mural on the wall yesterday.

I would have bet on the Moore, just because so far this seems like a tour of venues I've enjoyed in the past. And it seems like the right size.

True. But with Thanksgiving being Thursday. I would think they would have to either be selling tickets tomorrow or the day of the show (which they have been known to do before)

Easy Street would be awesome and really limited for everybody. Haha. Kind of goes in line with the whole Record Store day Black Friday thing though...so that actually doesn't sound too far fetched at all

I even wondered if HBO would skip a week because some shows do around the holidays. But my DVR says that episode 7 will be on Friday night. It's tough to imagine them skipping Seattle but it's also weird to pay the day after Thanksgiving.

OOOOOOOOooooooo I forgot about Record Store Day on Black Friday! Wow. Really crossing fingers and toes now! If it's at Easy Street I can even bring my little boy! (With appropriate hearing protection of course.)

My friend was also thinking they might be playing at the Showbox. He goes to UW and is hoping to get tickets if they indeed end up playing.

The band have actually played ON Thanksgiving Day. There's a cool episode of Top Chef where the contestants have to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for the band and their crew.

Dude, if what you say is true, you just totally narrowed it down for me. 3 purchase locations make sense too.
