Pitchfork just posted that their rep said that was untrue and that everyone is safe. Apparently the NBC reports were wrong there.

I'm currently on a plane to Paris crossing the Atlantic. Very sad news.

I have tickets to the remaining 3 shows of the tour. Let's see what happens.

Probably not a good idea to stay in Paris until they sort things out, so I'm trying to figure out where to go once I land.

Unhappy Re: Paris attacks

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I am deeply saddened. This morning I had a flight to Paris to my first Foo Fighters concert... I had been planning this trip since June. Everything was perfect, ready! I was sleeping at home to wake up at 5 and went to airport ect..yet at 00:30 my phone ringed and heard the news in Paris. For almost 11 hours, my luggage, my FF ticket to Bercy and me sitting home alone in Istanbul, instead of shed tears for joy, I now just in tears and dont know what to do.

I'm shocked. I saw the soccergame France-Germany when you heard a big Explosion outside the Stadium. Later every TV channel broadcasted live Pictures. Saw it till 2:30 am.

Over 120 victims.

The Radio said a couple of hours ago that members of the EODM have hidden in secret rooms backstage and that they are alive.

I'm sorry for the Foo Fighters Fans that have tickets for Paris BUT I hope they cancel the Show! I didn't know which band played there, they only said it was a Rockband from California and I thought the Foos are there. It was like a heart attack.

I don't know if the Band reads this Forum but if they do: please Dave and the Foos, please cancel the Show and stay safe!

Three days of national mourning in France, and all gatherings and protests have been banned. Not sure this means events as well. We shall see. I'd be sorry to see the show cancelled, but can't see them doing anything else.

Wouldn't be surprised if they came back and did a charity gig.

I can't imagine what the EODM guys are going through. It'd be damn difficult to get on stage again, after experiencing what they did last night. My heart goes out to them and the families of those affected.

Three days of mourning have been announced and I think (tho not sure) that all large gatherings and events banned for that time. I will keep looking out to see if that's correct.

It seems so.Sporting events have been cancelled, public places such as libraries etc are shut.U2 have cancelled their 2 gigs.I expect the foos to do the same.
