A "Garage Tour" planned
From Toronto Star's interview @ SXSW
Tell me about this “garage tour” you have planned for Wasting Light. Mendel: We’re still trying to figure it out, but we’re doing a little tour where it’s radio contests and people all in to win a chance to have us play in their garage. It’ll be funny and weird. Maybe we’ll show up and play 10 minutes or maybe it’ll turn into one of our two-and-a-half-hour shows. Who knows? It’ll be kinda fun. You’ll give some kid the night of his life! Shiflett: Or destroy his house. It’ll be a great story for him in years to come: “The Foo Fighters f---ing wrecked my house.”

I will rent a warehouse and put a sign on it that says "GARAGE" if thats what it takes to get them here in my town.

In case you haven't seen this, i don't see it posted in this thread, www.foofightersgaragetour.com
You can sign up to host or go. two different sign ups I heard a promo on DC101. It's all sponsored by blackberry and the radio stations in each of those cities. I want to go to the DC date so bad. Please...someone on here win and invite me!! I live in an Apt. , so no garage. I'm thinking about taking a picture of the big ass storage areas and calling it a garage, though
