i think a taxi could be a bit pricey, but if there's a few of you and you share the cost it wont be too bad.

I cant find any camp sites or anywhere to stay at'all. Just speaking to very charming and nice lady at Milton keynes council as the council have their very own camp site, but has been full since March. There is a major sporting event in town the same weekend!
But Hey Ho!
She was telling me local folks are renting out there gardens!
At least you'd have a nice loo!

No idea whether they are full or not but try the pubs / hotels in Towcester (15 miles from the bowl). A taxi back from MK station is about 20.

it is rather amusing since MK is just fields, trees and roundabouts... with a few buildings here and there

Default Information about the MK shows??

Hi all,

I'm going to see the Foos at MK Bowl on the 2nd July and I was wondering which train should I take. I mean, I've read that gates' opening time is 2pm but, does anyone know the whole schedule?

Thanks in advance, mates!

Traffic gets real bad on big band gigs at MK, so allow for that, don't know where the train station is in relation to the bowl but if it isn't to far you'll be quicker walking than getting a link bus/taxi

From Milton Keynes central railway station exit right and walk for 50 metres and then turn right on to a footbridge over the railway line. This is pedestrian cycleway redway system 'Leisure Route 51' and a 25-30 minute (just over 1 mile) signposted walk to the Bowl. Refer to Location Map 3 for further details.
Taken from : MK bowl info site,

If you're getting the train, expect to be standing. From experience they really don't put enough carriages on.

Default Currently hotel-less, where are my tickets and all other MK issues!!

Left it a bit late, but im a bit screwed!

Has anyone got a spare bed or floorspace in their hotel room in Milton Keynes? Obviously i'd pay half or whatever percentage towards it!

Please Help a boarder out!!

I was going to buy a ticket for a Virgin train, so I hope there'd be enough carriages! If not, I'll put my backpack under my t-shirt and pretend to be pregnant so I can get a seat

Does any of you know which is the first band to play? I don't wanna miss out Tame Impala and Biffy...

Default driving to MK.

Me and the bf are planning on driving down on the friday night. We've got a hotel booked but not sure if we should drive to the venue as we don't know about parking arrangements etc..

Just wondering what everyone else is doing?

I am guessing around 3.30 / 3.45 for the first act?
Biffy are a fantastic live band. Excited about seeing them again. They'll be on stage just before the Foos.

I was wondering what the Foos stage will be like, guitar strumming cat walk? I read on the MK site that there is usually a golden circle, somebody here mentioned that previously, but I'd be much happier with an extended walk stage similar to Wembley in 2008? And any special guests, since they'd booked the venue ages ago? No matter what I predict another amazing live Foos show.

I'll have an extra day to wait as I am going on the Sunday.
