They never have before. Not that I'm bitter.

My only surprise is that this wasn't announced by that toal shitbag Zane Lowe.

not that this will be the price, but the opening ceremony tickets are priced at 12.58.

Tickets are 49. Will probably be more like 55 after the usual fees.

Simon - being a techy can you help, when I try and click on things on that AXS event page it doesn't work and comes up with "javascript:void0".

How can I change this?!

Thanks.

5 hour show for all those acts. FF will surely be 90 minutes at the absolute most.

With BBC as a broadcast partner it's sure to be shown on TV.

Not sure but tickets will surely be on ticketmaster and see as well, the opening ceremony and other events are.

I can't decide which is more annoying, the fact that i really cannot see it being a full set or the inevitable show in London the night before.

1 festival show north of Milton Keynes in 6 years. Ridiculous.

Hmm ok I will keep a look-out. Other events though have been handled exclusively by AXS recently so it makes me concerned.

Yeah but they did well to get THAT far north in the first place.

Although the London show; this event is being billed as their only UK show this year?

I'm willing to bet that there will be some kind of Radio 1 thing with Zane Lowe and probably a club show before/after. Because that's always been their modus operandi before now.

And i'm bitter but i can't help but compare them negatively to the likes of Pearl Jam who came came over to do their large show in MK but also put on a smaller show in Leeds a few days before. Sure, even they aren't perfect (they've avoided Scotland for years) but they aren't as laughably London centric as the Foos.

You're forgetting Leeds Fest in 2012 Fail but yes, certainly agree with the general sentiment. That and TITP 2011 are the only Northern UK shows in recent years. You have to go back to 2007 for the last non-festival show in the North of England or Scotland.

Actually i was forgetting T, rather than Leeds!

It would annoy less if they just didn't come across at all.

Can only hope they do a proper UK tour next year. It's long overdue.

I will be in London the night before and I'm not that lucky, so I'm going to say, no there won't be.

I'm already at a gig that night, so a bit unlucky.
