![]() Gonna see them in Slane in May. I'd really hope they bring back Stacked Actors. It's still probably my favourite song of theirs. Also, agreed on the cover versions thing. 5 is taking the piss!

Even bring Have a Cigar back. Play that instead of Cold Day In The Sun if Dave really wants to play drums. If they ripped out Back in Black like they did with Jack Black on NYE 10 years ago, that would be pretty rad! Or the Angels Am I Ever Going to see your face again Basically, I'll Stick Around needs to do just that.. stick around on the set. It's been 10 years since they've played that in Aus. |

![]() I think SMF - Pretender is a bad way to start a show, two songs that start kinda similar. Haven't seen it though, opinion based entirely on the recorded versions, dunno if they've arranged them to flow better together.

![]() Doesn't seem like TFATM is gonna make the set on this tour. I thought it was gonna be a new live favourite when I first heard it, seems I was totally wrong..
AML is a great start, I totally get holding it back until the encore it being one of the biggest hits though.. |

![]() My only hope is that perhaps Foo's havent played in South America for a while, or the fans there have a few different favourites than the US/Europe/Aus.
I don't get why play Wheels and acoustic Times Like These when they weren't played on the promo tour. Doesn't make a great deal of sense. There are loads of other FFs songs that would sound better acoustic than them. They after all made a whole live album of it. |

As for the acoustic versions, covers etc set fillers, I hate to sound like a broken record and an old geezer (which I am both) but the best show I've seen them play was in 2002, a well though-out rock show that lasted for just about 2hrs. Hits, a few deeper cuts (Aurora and Enough Space), 17 songs. Add a few songs to a set that long and I'd be willing to bet no one would leave the stadium unhappy, wanting an acoustic or a cover segment.. That's not what anyone's there to see anyway. |

![]() Learn To Fly will certainly not be dropped this tour. It is one of their biggest hits and always gets the crowd going.

![]() I understand what people say about the covers, and I completely agreed until I watched them last night in Porto Alegre. They came from the ground on the b-stage right in front of me and as much as I'd like for them to play Foo songs at that moment I couldn't help but notice how much they were visibly enjoying themselves while playing the covers to the point I didn't care they weren't Foo songs after all.

![]() I too prefer the days when the set's were less rehearsed. Any song could have been played in any order.
Even back in 2003, when all the sets opened with All My Life, they opened with Times Like These, played Aurora, New Way Home and Exhausted! We're lucky to get 2 maybe 3 songs out of order on this tour. Having said that it's a little more elastic than the last stadium tour, at least to Aus. |

![]() This is true. Check the set list from this tour so far and last the only real fucking differance is the 3 or four new songs and the fucking covers.

![]() In terms of setlist and Dave's voice needing a rest he seemed to do ok on this one.. couple of covers in there.
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/foo-fi...-63dc76b3.html I think its how you package it, if Chevy Metal came out before the Foo's and did the covers people would love it.. But a setlist where almost 20% is covers? That's a tough sell when you've got fans wanting to hear tracks from albums spanning 20 years... I agree you can't please every one with the setlist, I'd be a bit disappointed if they played five covers.. but its still a Foo show... so by the end I'd be to happy to care..

![]() Why not play Subterranean or I am a river? Those are softer songs that he could rest his vocals with. I like it when bands play a cover sometimes..but the Foos need to cut it down I think.

![]() Who knows. In terms of actual live shows those two and WDID?/GAMY have only been done once, at their SH city promo show.
Feast is the one I find strange that they're not doing. I thought that'd be the other surefire track played alongside the lead single, but they've not touched it on any of the proper big tour shows. It's not like it's any more taxing on the voice than say Pretender.

![]() If Dave's voice is running out when playing live I think a good long term solution would be to write more songs with Taylor on vocals like Cold Day.. then you get FF songs and no need for covers.
