F#@K Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

Arrrgghhh my due date is 24th August. Madame had better come early or ontime. So unbelievably full of crazy emotions right now as still in limbo as to whether i'm going to be able to make it or not until the last minute. Even then I will be too sore to jump around in the heart of the crowd. I may have to buy a ticket for a midwife to come along with me if bambino hasn't come and i will give birth on the bank to Times Like These :-S

I have never been so gutted in my whole life. Finding out santa wasn't real, Take That splitting up at the age of 12 is just doesn't compare to the utter devastation I am feeling right now.

So happy that the Wembley gig has been rescheduled so quickly thanks to the Foo Fighters dedication to their fans. Please start praying that baby will come in time so that I can go to this

Question Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

There is no mention of how to book disabled seating for Milton Keynes with the presale offer for previous Wembley ticket holders. We had booked these through the Wembley box office previously. Does anyone know if the e-mail link that previous ticket holders will receive tomorrow will have this option available? Despite the website saying that the Wembley Box office are participating in the 'offer' they say they have nothing to do with it and can't help

Accommodation is shooting up in price.Any tips on somewhere that may not be so close to the stadium. Is there a train station or buses nearby? I went on coach & ticket package deal last time and didn't stay over.

I'm a little gutted as I'll be out of the country for these dates!

Have fun everyone, fingers crossed the throne makes an appearance, would loved to have seen that!

Hopefully some more UK shows around June next year may happen.

Funny, I thought that. Considering people were saying "would rather see Dave not sitting down!" last month, the Throne has become a huge point of discussion for this tour now.

The atmosphere on the 5th Sep, given what this show represents, is going to be amazing.

I have this problem too! I phoned Wembley earlier and they didn't have a clue but they said someone will call me back this afternoon so I'll let you know what they say.

Really? The crappy MK Bowl? *sigh*

I can't believe they couldn't find two dates for Wembley next year, its like 14 months away. Wembley isn't perfect but its a lot easier to get to than Milton Keynes, better transport links, much easier for hotels, etc. And I thought they were making a big deal of returning to the scene of their 2008 triumph?

And the tickets go on sale this week ... I'm still trying to sort out refunds and move monies for the cancelled Wembley dates; why put them on sale so early? My sister literally just refunded my Wembley ones, I now have to ping the money straight back I guess.

There's a main line train station about 15 mins walk from the Bowl.

Key tip if you're driving, park at the station instead of the Bowl so you don't have to sit for hours getting out of the venue. We did that in 2011 and were on the motorway heading home within 25mins of the gig ending. We then hit M1 traffic though thanks to some idiot planning major bridge replacement road works the same night as a huge gig at the Bowl...1hr 45min journey turned into 7hours!
