If people want to listen to any FF song (or any band) you'd think by now it would be as simple as going to their website, scrolling through a list of all their songs, and buying the ones they want.

Sadly not the case, and never likely to be.

Yes I think we deff agree on that - the prev "URL" there being the "here" that we are on (FF.com in some way). I did seriously shit on the plate of my own argument by adding the platform split stuff, but only because I was pre-knowing the reasons it could not easily happen one for one (where one DL equaled one "dollar" into Foo Central).

Because hell, if a band wanted to do that today, right now and say fuck you all, they might have contracts lasting up to 5 years into the future still in force. Metallica might be different lol.

I was going to parallel TV - then thought no Mike just stay on subject lol. It's waaaaay worse now for TV / Movies, and that's driving the bulldozer right down the hill, through the fields the actual production teams are working in, and directly at the town (snugly oblivious beside their screens) at ever increasing pace. Apple just jumped in, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Sony, Red Tube. Disney coming. I'm missing some and those are just the full net based options.

All the UK and US BC networks have online platforms. All the US ones also have old cable platforms FX, Starz, HBO, Showtime. The parents aren't even really trying to streamline/merge those terrestrial/cable platforms in most cases (for fear of losing brand identity) while knowing their content is all owned by one body, that they are charging twice, and that "on net" none of the FCC censorship provisions apply (the reason the PPV cable nets branched off in the first place). Which in and of itself is an utterly massive corporate "Fuck You" to consumers.

So every one of those now have unique net platforms, and again more I'm missing... Sky, F1TV, ESPN etc etc.

They almost ALL want, or will want a $8.99+/M US subscription fee before terrestrial broadcast gets turned off and people throw up their hands and go fuck it I'm a pirate lol. Only then will they start to properly merge under public pressure (after pocketing whatever they can).

Yes we sorta got there - Apple drove it, and IMHO the true direction died with Steve. They (Apple) then both missed the video inclusion side, You Tube didn't help diverting everyone to free audio and video (though they missed his point also and even with Goggle buying them are STILL unable to make a dent, which says a lot), Amazon got it but were too busy solidifying AWS and their corp deals (which OK have turned out rather nicely for them) to ram it home (though the are in full swing now)...

Meanwhile Netflix walked away with everyone's lunch... (and TV dinner) .

We won't now see shit all change in the audio world until video rights itself - and that's a ten year fuckstavagansa now IMHO.

They have added World, Born on the bayou, Razor live, The sign, best of you live.
Immaculate timing And thanks for posting it man

"Dear World,

Born on the bayou, we'll Razor you (live).

It's The sign,

We've got the Best of You (live)."

Seriously though

A) 11 songs, that's now up to a full CD. What's up with that? More impact needed? Time running short?
B) Management - A PM would have been fine to get me back onto the music, you didnt have to upload a whole album mid-post.

Thanks, been stressing a little bit on a couple of things that are important but can be fixed...

And stressing massively on something really much less important that could not just be "fixed". But now is

The DOA Demo is also on Five Songs and A Cover EP btw. Also why include 3 of the 4 covers recorded during the IYH era, and not include the Cream cover?

Taylor: "Yeah, we heard you just fine."
Chris: "Oh. Well, ok..."

Sorry but vinyl for me (vs Spotify)
But I'd support you of all people have the right to first choice - some of us have veeery long memories
http://forum.foofighters.com/archive.../t-147417.html

Did any version ever sound much better than this (after the questionable clean attempts)?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEZvl65f304

It is definitely one of the few missing gems I desperately want in my fucket list (fuck it I need these songs properly released before I die).

2020 would be nicer for me than 2045

A much clearer version leaked.....I want to say last year? Memory not what it used to be.

Someone also remastered the new version to sound really good, IMO.

EDIT: Was on the anniversary this year. Here is a link to the remastered version that was still active, I'll up the raw version later.
