Thank god for Spotify, but it's a real shame that pre-ordering the album (deluxe bundle at £165 no less) doesn't ensure delivery on the day of release.

Finally something new and different! I love how the foundations of each song are still Foo but the rest is inspired by the bands they love so much and always talk about. Can't wait to receive my limited edition record!

That's usually what keeps me from doing the 'official' pre-sales, since I'd rather just pick up the CD the day of instead of waiting for whatever to come. Luckily, I chose the mp3 option for the pre-sale this time around. So I just downloaded it late last night and will pick up the physical product(s) after work today.

Ah - I have Groove (Xbox) music. Why didn't I think of that earlier :-)

Got a dispatched email yesterday so at best it will arrive tomorrow.

I might have to buy another copy if it doesn't as I won't have time to listen to the CD before the O2 gig otherwise. Its disappointing they couldn't send the orders out earlier this week.

I was in HMV in Edinburgh at lunchtime walking past loads of copies on CD and Vinyl knowing I didn't have mine yet.

Thats weird. My prime account is only letting me stream Run. It says I need Amazon Unlimited to stream the whole album.

Why pay itunes, i'll never understand that, sorry. Get the CD, it's about $2 or $3 more.

It's weird how much they talk up 'concrete and gold' (song) to the point that they felt it was 'heavy' and 'black Sabbath' esque and that it became the benchmark for the other songs to follow? Where is the bit that kicks in that they talk about in interviews?

Don't get me wrong I like the song, but it's definitely got the least going for it imo

Because I live in a town where Wal-mart is the only place that has CD's and they don't have C&G in. I asked today and they said "OH ya...people have been asking for it but we don't have it."

I got the CD package that contained the shirt, socks, tattoos, notepad, and I thought coins. There were no coins in my package.

Did anyone else get this bundle and get their coins? I have emailed them back and asked but no reply yet.

Overall I am thoroughly satisfied with this excellent piece of work.
I wish T shirt was a full song.
I wish Dave drummed on Sunday Rain, I don't like the drumming, sorry Paul.
I think Concrete and Gold (song) is not at all enjoyable.
I love the album, these would be my 3 even better ifs...

Yeah, weird. I just went back in on my laptop rather than my phone and it's definitely just Prime. Maybe try again later?

It's definitely not the some I was envisioning at all, nowhere near as heavy.

I thought they all had coins at least. Hopefully they'll get back to you soon.

My physical CD is coming tomorrow - but I was able to listen to the album today thanks to the free Amazon digital download!

I LOVE IT!!!

The segue from "T-Shirt" into "Run" - it's just like warm honey being poured into my soul!

I hear a Floyd influence here, a Steely Dan influence there... but this is their Beatles album man!

I just got home and opened the standard vinyl bundle (vinyl, t-shirt & coins). The Black on Black vinyl should arrive Monday.

I'm through 4 listens. This is fucking awesome. Their best since TINLTL.

Dirty Water--This is one of the best songs Dave's ever written
La Dee Da--this has such a groove, can't help but dance along with this song
Run--still gets me every single time
The Line--I love this one. Such a great singalong.
Make it Right--like I said about La Dee Da. Such a great groove. Wish it had a guitar solo though, feel like it's a missed opportunity not to let Shifty loose here.
T-Shirt--just wish it was longer! That explosion.
Happily Ever After--beautiful. I was singing "where is your shangri-la now" all afternoon.
Concrete and Gold--contrary to many other people on this board, I really like it. Wish there was more than just verse-chorus-verse-chorus but it's truly a hell of a closer in my eyes.
The Sky is a Neighborhood--chorus is outstanding. Not my favorite on the record but that just shows the depth of this thing
Arrows--a very good Foo Fighters™ song
Sunday Rain--this is just a little lackluster of a performance. I LOVE it live but just not great here.

I love this so much.

I'm hearing it for the first time right now as the local radio station is playing the entire thing along with interviews with the band. But they are playing it out of order.
