Default May 12 DG solo show
So,

Just saw on FB that a solo show is happening 5/12 in Oakland.

Hope someone from over here is going, want to have a report of the show.

These kinds of things are getting rare these days!

Kind of - these charity acoustic performances are becoming common. This one seems seriously expensive, too, except for the limited set of balcony seats at $100 (which would put you waaay up the back).

What I meant was that a DG solo performance used to be somewhat common,

Now the article says the last time was in '16..

ok it's not often Dave Grohl does a solo set, so when he played last night why is there no mention today?! his daughters got involved, seemed like a nice evening!! and he played 'Cold Day in the Sun' which was great to hear with him on vocals.

Beautiful performances, so sweet watching him with his girls! There's a video that says Cold Day In The Sun but it's TSIAN. And one with Dave and Violet, her voice!
