So, these Sound City "epic jam" sessions...
...(which is what the general consensus these recent collaborations are for). Guessing all slots aren't all ready booked, who else would you like to see Dave/the band get together with based on this (maybe not exhaustive) list from Sound City's MySpace page:

There are obviously a few easily made connections to the band in there but I'd like to see a collaboration from left field.

I read on a Fleetwod Mac fanpage/twitter account that they are expected to be involved? Not sure where the original source is from but that would be pretty cool.

I ran into Alain Johannes at the Viper Room last December (The Arthur Channel with ol' pal drummer Jack Irons) and he said he did some work for Dave on this documentary.
He was also heading back out to the desert to work on some new 'Queens Of The Stone Age' stuff that night. Maybe Dave is doing some work with the Queens (note: pure unverifiable and dangerously irresponsible speculation on my part).

Neil Young and Elvis Costello would be amazing. Ben Folds, as a guy who owns his own studio and does production, would be interesting to talk to as well as to record with. I'll bet Dave will get the Melvins involved somehow. He has tenuous links with a lot of bands on that list.
George Harrison's not alive, but you know that's going to be worked in somehow
