Vinyl, cd and DVD all ordered hoping they'll turn up on Saturday seeing as I even paid for amazon delivery to get them on release day!

Me too.When it's something i really, really want to come early, it always comes on the Monday.

Normally true for me too, but both wasting light and back and forth made it to me on a Saturday so I'm hoping luck will be on my side with sound city too!!

(That being said they were from hmv, don't hold out too much hope for amazon, not had amazing preorder experience from them before)

Now HMV online is no more, the only choices seems to be Play.com or Amazon.

I know. Sad times. I always favoured hmv, there's something about play and amazons sites that are less shop able IMO

Yeah I know Play's just a market place these days

Everyone's minimising their risks by not having to hold physical stocks and just getting people to pay for using their name

I miss the good ol' days

pre-orderd the blu ray, vinyl and cd from amazon. Won't get it till monday as amazon rarely get pre-orders delivered before.

On a side note, I noticed that some indie record stores are saying the vinyl is a limited run of 1000 (i presume for the UK), any truth in that?

US vinyl despatched from Amazon. Delivery April 8th. There's a note saying the CD will be sent soon and arrive April 25th!!

The vinyl has gone up in price so at least I get the pre-order discount!
