Well he's moved on from that, it's no longer part of his life.
I personally would be very disappointed if they did start playing Nirvana songs.

well i mean i know its not his place to do so, but i mean he was part of the band, and i mean if he covered maybe some acoustic polly now and then i think it would sound pretty good, not to be disrespectful to nirvana or anything, im just saying

Sure it is. He just chooses not to. Audioslave does Soundgarden songs... Velvet Revolver does Rage & STP songs. Not much of a difference. Most likely Dave probably just decided to move on, but maybe someday he'll pull a couple of tunes out.

i may be wrong but i believe he stole the scentless drum intro from somewhere.

And as for dave playing Nirvana songs im sure he just feels that was a completely different time of his life and would rather leave it in the past.
