this Friday at the Corner Club, Woodland Hills, 9 pm. I want to see all my LA ladies there, please. The boys can come too if they like.

We were on the other side of you, I think. In front of Dange.

Fun night. Taylor grabbed onto that $25 joke like a frigging pitbull. Hilarity!

Actually, you got two drinkie coupons with the $25 - so not all that bad. I'd pay more to be three feet away from Taylor playing. Woot.

Lara - you are adorable and the coolest ever (okay, top ten). SO FUN!

Thumbs up Re: Chevy Metal show

Aw, I love you too sweet lady.

He did keep reminding us we weren't getting our money's worth, didn't he? But hell, $25 is a small price to pay for dirty messy '70s rock in a dirty messy little club with a dirty messy little drummer behind the kit.

Still flying high from last night!! While the $25 cover charge threw me off, I would have paid that and so much more (like my soul, perhaps?) to have that much closeness with my FF friends and Taylor. So much fun. And every song was tasty. Looking forward to more outtings w/ the Girls...and Cosmo too!!

Looked like fun!

Anyone ask Tay if they're touring for GH, what he thinks of TCV, or anymore Coattail Riders stuff?

Touring for Greatest Hits? Didn't think to ask.
What he thinks of Them Vultures? Didn't ask, but I did ask if he knew when they would be playing in L.A.... He didn't know.
Any more Coattail Riders stuff? Not really, but possibly doing a few local/vicinity gigs. More Chevy Metal gigs... because they are fun.
...
He might check out Nate's local gig... maybe Nine Inch Nails.
Wiley said Them Vultures sound great. No news on album release or local dates.

That was my take on the cover charge... I expected 15 bucks at the door... which it basically was. $25 plus 2 drinks (max. 7 bucks per drink.. no calling out Patron or 21 year old Glenfiddich). So, a couple of Coronas and 3 feet away from one the the premiere drummers on the planet... I'll drink to that!
It's not everyday it happens... and not everyone gets to see this. Taylor's ad libbed lyrics to 'Come Together' and his channeling of the spirit of Keith Moon on 'A Quick One (While He's Away)' was well worth the price of admission.
