I have been looking forward to this for so long. How disappointing
Worst sound at a show ever, even worse than chillis one hot minute tour and the blue light disco i went to in 1987. I love the foo fighters dearly but felt totally ripped off by em(and their sound crew). i"m sure they played well but i couldnt tell. How about play a smaller venue, cut ya profits a little and look after "those in the shitty seats" as Dave said himself.

Playing smaller venues would be awesome but then there would only be 2 shows per city max given the length and intensity of the show & then a whole bunch of people will miss out on tickets or have to buy scalped ones off ebay.

Chances of Foo Fighters delivering that kind of performance for a 20 show tour of Aus just isn't going to happen.

Goddamn some people are never happy. You can't expect awesome sound in every single corner of a stadium that was designed for sports. Suck it up.

And Jill, every time someone said f00ies in line for the shows, we all looked at other and cringed. I LOLed when Geo told me you'd banned it.

A bunch of guys near the front started chanting it in Adelaide last night before the encore. I felt like pelting them with something but thankfully it didn't catch on.

Eek! Re: Foo Fighters in Melbourne

Going to the Sydney gig tomorrow night at Sydney Football Stadium, Eminem played there the other night and apparently the sound sucked. I really hope Foo Fighters sound crew do a better job than Eminems crew.

That banning is so fantastic! It took me a couple of seconds to get why a word was asterisked but when I did... oh man. Awesome.
One of the guys I worked with used to say it. All the time. And even worse, he would say "I just moshed out on the d-floor with the ******!"
I wanted to punch him so bad. I wanted to punch him anyway, but whenever he said that word, I had this uncontrollable rage that I can't understand, and yet I can.

I saw Eminem at Lolla (same stage as Foos), his sound sucks regardless of the venue.

I've always called them the 'Foofies' because it's cute and fluffy, like Dave's beard.

That's the worst logic ever. People pay money for their tickets in exchange for HEARING and SEEING the concert. If the venue/band fails to deliver on their side of the deal then that's a problem. Every person that has paid for a ticket should able to clearly hear the concert and enjoy the full concert experience. If this can't be delivered, then the venue isn't fit to hold events of this nature.

Yeah, freedom of speech doesn't really apply here. This isn't a democracy, it's a Jillocracy. Don't like it? Tough.
