Oh also, if you waited long enough you would have gotten tickets. They were selling them until 3. So it did take some time, but everyone that stuck around got tickets to the show. Also, no service fees. Paid $150 for a pair of floors.

I couldn't stay that long as I had to go to a funeral. Also I'm not lining up all day for 400 level tix. I know I can do better in either the pre-sale, gen sale or day of the show.

When I lined up at 8:45am, I didn't think I would get a wristband.... but they kept handing them out for about 6-7 minutes after I got mine.

Definitely had a horseshoe up my behind, as they drew my wristband #670. I was in shock the whole time, but also frozen from the windchill.

You were wondering how many tickets in the seats were blocked off, and the answer is 7 rows in the 200's. Being absolute first in line, the first seats available were 202 Row G, and around me as others lined up, I could hear them requesting 4 seats as well, so great for those that really wanted floors... happy for all those that had to brave the cold longer got their floor tix.

Going to be an awesome show!

I did manage to get myself a ticket. Yes, one, in sec. 203. I only got it out of sheer desperation, trying with 2 browsers and my phone it was the only seat I pulled besides some in 400's or lawn. No GA.
Second show announced and sold out before I even knew about it lol.

I guess I should be happy with what I have especially since some people had no luck, but I want this to be special!!

It's my 20th show in their 20th year. That's pretty cool. I should get to pick a song or something! hahahaha

To the people who were upset about the rules not being followed in Toronto.

The rules said line up at 9am and wristbands would be handed out at 9am. When I read that I realized that wasn't logistically possible. It seemed pretty obvious that one of those times would change.

In order to protect my ticket chances I went with the line up time being allowed a little bit early, got off the train at Ex about 8am, plenty of people already in line, but the wristband evened up the playing field.

So, I no longer live in Canada and live 13 hours ahead of you guys. I have been a Foos fan for a long time and when I heard that there was a new album coming out I was frantic at the thought that I would miss a Foo Fighters tour cycle. I have sadly missed recent tour cycles of bands who I love (Pearl Jam and NIN) and did not want this to happen again.

Sadly, my friend (Who I have gone to all my Foos shows with) could not attend the in person presale because of work. I gave him my credit card number so he could get tickets presale for me because of the whole 13 hours ahead thing. It was 11pm here and I had just finished my Dodgeball playoff game (Yeah, you read that right) and I got word from him that we did not get tickets. Apparently they all sold out really quick too.

It was shitty but I went to bed thinking "Fuck, looks like I've got to pay the scalpers what they want". Started to head to work at 6:30 am, get in my class and check Twitter and saw the new show announcement. I begin to lose my mind and race to a computer. Luckily, I got four tickets, not the best seats, but I will be in the house.

Really crappy seats compared to the seats I got from the last time they played the Amp. Still going to try and hit up the 1st show, even if I have to go by myself.

Really hate what Ticketmaster has become. Making scalping legal and screwing over true fans.

This should be a post of celebration! FOOS this summer!

Thinking about going to their New Zealand shows too!

Travelling from NB and grabbed some 400's for Wednesday night and hoping to grab a ticket for Thursday as well and if time allows off to Boston too.

I tried for Detroit tickets as well...got Row ZZ and Lawns....so passed on them.

I got a call from a friend at 5:58 last night telling me to get to a computer for the presale last night for the new show...Thank you to him! You know who you are...

I now have 2 GA tickets for both shows..I can't wait! I hope I can score something decent for the Detroit show on the 5th..

I made an account on here just to try to snag those NYC premiere tickets, so I thought I should maybe contribute to the community even just a little bit as some kind of an offering to the rock gods/forum karma.

I saw the Foo Fighters at Edgefest '98 when I was a wee 13 year old and decided that it was high time I spent some quality time with Dave and the gang again. I don't really have any friends who are fans, so I figured I'd go alone and just enjoy the nostalgia trip all by my lonesome.

After a while I started to get super excited about the show, but they hadn't even announced the venue/date yet. I was really hoping for a big Downsview Park show, and really didn't want a Skydome show. When the Amphitheatre was announced I didn't know what to think. "It's way too small! What are they thinking?! But, shit! Imagine floor tickets?!! That's basically a small club gig with 15,000 people behind you."

I went to the beat the bots sale without any real expectation of leaving with a ticket at all. But then I ended up 60th in line and left with one floor ticket - just what I needed! I'd tried to get two, but for some reason the computer wouldn't let the guy give me two floors, so I took the one and went on my way. I'm glad though, since an extra ticket and no desire to go with someone else would have made scalping for a profit too tempting for a poor student.

I don't know what to think about the second show. I missed the presale yesterday, but I might try Friday to grab something. It's always hard to guess which of two back to back shows will be the "good" one. Makes it easy to justify just doing both!

Anyhoo! That's my story. Can't wait for July!

That really sucks. Sorry if i sounded like i was bitching, I was just actually curious, i've never been to the venue.

It's crazy how quick it completely sold out, i was able to pull lawn seats pretty much all of wednesday after the second show was announced, so i was surprised they were gone so quick today. Probably shouldn't have been though, i'm lucky I got what i did.
